Thank you for yet another exceptional performance. I've always wanted to go scuba diving. However, this type of story can make you change your mind. :)
Glad to know I wasn't the only one who didn't know it was real. I looked it up after reading this. Apparently, there's less than 200 of the catfish left. So yes very, very sad.
Ok, I’m roughly 13 mins in and I am finding it hard to keep that suspension of belief going that you need to have in order to fully enjoy these sorts of stories. I think it’s because I know that if this guy (main character) has even a fraction of the cave diving experience that he seems to elude to having earlier in this story…then he should know(I don’t care how “excited” he is)not to separate, kick up sand/silt, go chasing after a light that’s moving and most importantly…use a goddamn line to keep himself oriented ffs 🤦♀️! I mean yeah…his “guide(s)” (even if they are just 2 random dudes, they aren’t even protecting themselves with a line 😑) should have made this shit clear as well but wtf main dude!?😅 Idk, just had to get that out there😮💨! Ok, imma just try to forget all that and finish the damn story 😂 lol
I like how your cryptid stories alternate vs others...most others are wendigo & all the other cliche stories, dont get me wrong such stories are everlasting in terms of my entertainment. Im a believer in the many things that seem to beyond humanties belief system & comprehension. Operations stories broaden creature creepypastas by bringing new stories to the table...not the same stories read by individual authors
This one. Yeah. This is the kind of fear that gets to me. I am a great swimmer, no Michael Phelps but I can hold my own. I can not do;do not do water I can not see the bottom of. As a child my dad and my two brothers would go river walking a lot fishing in the current it was fun. Once when the water was too fast we decided to just float along I was a tall kid and if you add my arm outstretched above my head, pretty tall. You catch my meaning. No where along this river was deep enough to not be able to feel the ground. It had just rain so it was just above my knees not too deep but maybe a foot and a half, give or take, probably give. We had been just floating down bobbing on knees or butts it wasn’t fast fast water but enough to have some fun. I had gotten away from my dad I d k how far but I was going to stand up and wait for him to catch up. I stud up and under estimated the speed of the water fell still feeling the ground and then it was gone. I went straight down deep, deep enough to where it hurt my ears. I wasn’t thinking about breathing out all I knew was I could not feel air on my hands or feet I was thinking I might be upside down. Lots of thought were going through my head like how I was ready to hold my breath this long. Something touched me down there couldn’t see a thing. It was big enough to where I could and did pushed it or myself away from. Problem just a carp but it scared the shit out of me. This all happen very fast I stuck my hands up over my head swing like a frog in the second kick my father got me. I don’t know how he knew where I was it wasn’t because my hands were above water I can still feel the water in current flowing above my head. Nowhere in this river is deep enough for anything like this. Nowhere. Before I started I tried to just feel something anything, ground, air, sun even see, anything . Some of my worst nightmares are where I’m trying to stretch out my arms and legs to feel anything but I’m stuck in nothingness not able to find something to hold or push off of. I want to say I love this story but. 😅
Has me thinking....perfect place for a water dragon, sustains maximum discreetability due to the evironment, darkness, & the catfish which makes people distracted/oblivious from the creatures presence...how the creature makes you feel which forces you to avoid & get away from it. & once you get away from it? The experience you had with it will never be validated therefore it will forever remain a mystery to the knowledge of humanity
The best part is anybody you told would just put it down to you hallucinating due to nitrogen toxicity, or even oxygen toxicity if you went deep enough.
I hate closed in places like caves caverns also hate being underwater. So why am I watching this. It's 3 degrees here 8 in of snow € I have my 3 cats to cuddle witb
Yeah. Because giant monsters able to suck in thousands of gallons of water can totally live in a lake a few acres wide and survive off the leopard or wild dog that stumbles in once a decade.
I love these types of stories. For me the unknown and unexplored parts of the world are always the scariest for me. Keep up the good work.
1:28 it is not Nambia it is called Namibia... born and live in this country.

This was Excellent. Nice job Operation.
Underwater stories are *always* scary and paranoid D:
Its Double'd when its a cave underwater
I agree 100%!!!
@@OperationInsomnia Especially scary for the people with closed space phobias :D
So happy to have longer videos from you :)
Wait... this cave is actually *real* !
And the Catfish is critically endangered... That's odd, scary & sad.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one who didn't know it was real. I looked it up after reading this. Apparently, there's less than 200 of the catfish left. So yes very, very sad.
I agree. I was sure he would get stuck
@@OperationInsomnia Indeed. Its sad to think that impovirished regions nature tend to deter because of the illegal activities.

I love all your stories even ones that scare me.
And this is why kids you take cave exploration classes and training
I live in Namibia, its pronounced NA ME BEE AHH
The under water long snake that secrets a memory erase liquid
Maybe he slept through that chapter in World Geography in high school! 🤷🏼♀️
I'm in UK and even i know how to pronounce your Country's name correctly.
Creepy, yet intriguing at the same time.
5:13 Especially???
Other than that little mispronunciation, this is a good story. Love the channel too, found it yesterday.
That's probably an audio glitch while exporting the video!
This was yet another amazing story
Operation insomnia is a success I am still up at 2:00 am.

Good story!
Storyline was good, as well as the characters... The technical & basic safety aspects of the dive however, were sketchy AF.
Still enjoyed it though.
damn good

This guy should write love story's
That is Fahrenheit. I have to push my black lab out door.
I hate closed in places like caves caverns also hate being underwater. So why am I watching this. It's 3 degrees here 8 in of snow € I have my 3 cats to cuddle witb
Is that Celcius or Fahrenheit? Either one is very cold and I thought 40° (Fahrenheit) was cold. At least you have cats to help keep you warm.
long story short, the main character almost got devoured by a sea dragon
Lake Vostok laughs at your puny little lake. 4.9 acres! Ptui!
Lake Vostok is a subglacial lake, Dragon's Breath lake is basically underneath a desert.
There's a big creature in those deep waters
Did you really go there and come back without video footage and pictures ???????
Ya!!! where's the shots!
This is movie worthy
You’d do well casted as an edgy anime character. Good voice homie
He was Jonah but escaped 🐳
this mans said nambia its namibia

"monster" kind of indicates its not a natural beast......
Google it, it's a real cave and real cat fish
