You and Metal are without a doubt the 2 most relatable, knowledgeable, and passionate headphone reviewers on UA-cam, although I do also really enjoy Aonic’s approach as well. I think you and Metal should consider a stream or other video together!

I agree the Auteur delivers less detail than similarly priced headphones, I would say it is comparable in detail to the Elex but slightly behind the Clear/Ether2. I do really enjoy the Auteur out of the 789 though because it takes the clinical edge off and brings a nice hint of relaxed atmosphere, like you said.
I like your description that the ZMF are chill. The Sennheiser 800 can be over clinical as to be fatiguing with the wrong amplifier or music, there really is no middle ground with them. If you are into headphones as a hobbyist the Sennheiser 800 can’t be your last and only headphones, but the ZMF could be and sound more evenly balanced with a wider range of music genres than the stock 800s. Great review and description.
Nice review. I'd like to see your opinion on the Klipsch hp3s if you manage to get them in hand. Also, since you are an he6 user, what speaker amps have you tried them on? I'd like to hear your opinion on the emotiva a100 flex version with that headphone
Chris Hall yeah. I picked up the Verite not long after this. Not disappointed. Very good headphone. Lots of pad options and very comfortable all around.
