The clarinet is playing v fast swing style, too elaborate for Dixieland but Kid Ory and the rest of the band , apart from the drummer who is playing off beat syncopated, are true to the idiom !
What change to hear real music.
I was privileged to see this band in Europe.Also I went to Paris in 1955 to see his band which had Alvin Alcorn on trumpet & Phil Gomez on Clarinet
