Hoi Sander. Hoe is de geluidskwaliteit van de versterker van de aliexpress radio? Ik heb nu een land rover met een goede geluidsinstallatie. Wil niet zo'n blikkerig geluid krijgen door een waardeloze aliexpress versterker in deze radio. Ik hoor het graag. Bedankt

Heb zelf sinds 2 maanden een astra j gtc en moet zeggen het kriebelt wel om dit schermpje ook aan te schaffen. Dus hoe meer filmpjes jij upload hoe beter voor mij! Heb wel wat vraagjes.
Ik neem aan dat jij die van €265 heb gekocht en dan €48 shipping dus laten we zeggen €320 totaal. Moest je import betalen?
Hoelang moest je wachten op het scherm?
Die 4g heb jij via een simonly abonnement met een simkaart in je auto?
Weet jij of flitsmeister gebruikt kan worden als navi app?
En er moeten toch wel andere soorten lay outs te krijgen zijn. Zelf gebruik ik op mijn android telefoon de app genaamd (Evie) dit is een launcher die je echt alles laat aanpassen. Wie weet kan dit ook dit scherm aangezien het voor mij gewoon aanvoelt als een groot android scherm.

1: Ja ik heb die versie en nee ik hoefde geen import te betalen. Ik had wel DHL als verzender. Maar misschien is de mijne door de douane gefietst dus ik kan geen zekerheid geven.

Nee dat zou ik niet weten, de navi600 is al met een scherm toch?
In principe vervang je de gehele radio unit, dus in jouw geval zal ook dat scherm eruit gaan.

Ik neem aan dat de aansluitingen (van dashboard, radioantenne enz.) allemaal universeel zijn dus het zou denk ik geen probleem moeten zijn!
Mooie en duidelijke video’s! Ik stel mijn vragen en even in het Nederlands 😉Ben je na een aantal jaar nog steeds tevreden met het scherm? Je gaf aan geen gebruik te maken van de verbinding met je telefoon om google maps ect te gebruiken, werkt dit niet goed of vind je hoe je dit nu hebt ingebouwd makkelijker? Kan je toevallig ook laten zien hoe je de 4g module ingebouwd hebt? (De plek voor de simkaart bij de versnellingspook)
Helaas heb ik mijn Astra twee jaar geleden verkocht, dus ik kan daar niets meer over zeggen. De 4g modulde was een losse usbstick die ik destijds gekocht had, waar een simkaart in zat. deze zorgde voor een wifi signaal.

Thats not true, the sound comes from the external speaker you have to install ibb.co/Z2VFjTb nr 22 on the image.
It sounds a bit different but I like it more then the original.

Sander even een vraagje! Wat voor een simkaart heb jij erin? Ik kan niet een sim only kiezen zonder belminuten. Heeft jou scherm nu zijn eigen nummer haha? Want internet heb je nu wel nodig voor de navigatie natuurlijk

Ja, mijn scherm heeft zijn eigen nummer. Het beste is een sim only abbo van Lebara. Kost relatief niks, en je hebt niet de verplichting van andere providers die ook van je verwachten dat je ermee belt. Dat is de reden. Het is een 'oude' simkaart dus je zult een oudere telefoon moeten vinden (die ik nog had liggen) om een grote simkaart in te proppen. Even activeren, dan terug in de radio en dan heb je 4g.

Ik zit te denken om een soortgelijke unit voor een insignia te kopen. Moet ik de ts4g versie hebben?
Heb je toevallig ook ervaring met de dab+ module icm deze unit?
De standaard radio ontvangst is vrij bagger dus??

No everything worked fine! Like i said in the video, always buy the latest one. Radio reception was bad but I just used an app

Ik heb twee linker handen en ik kon het ook zonder ooit maar 1 radio aangesloten te hebben. Het is voornamelijk goed kijken en rustig aan doen.
wat heb je voor canbus type gekozen? ik heb een opel astra J uit 2010. Kachel is niet te bedienen via het touchscreen en krijgt van het canbus systeem ook geen informatie mbt toerental,snelheid,buiten temperatuur etc.
Ik heb helaas deze auto niet meer, dus ik kan je er helaas niet meer mee helpen.

What kind of fucntions do you want to read out from the OBD that should be on the screen? You can go into the menu to see different information about the car.
Please react what you want to know and I will find out and make a video about it
@@sndr1384 Actually on the menu that shows the car details, it cannot read the speed, the mileage, oil level etc. but it has the fields for them. Also on the bottom of the screen that shows the speed (or the music player there also no values). Normally I am using torque to read the turbo pressure coolant temperature and many other stuff. On the seller's page I see that it can support OBD2 but I see no way to read the car values
Heb ook het systeem en ben er zeer blij mee bedankt voor de video's. Enkel de simkaart moet ik steeds zoals een gsm een code ingeven. Heb je er een gemakkelijke manier ervoor dat je dit niet steeds hoeft te doen? :)
Ik denk dat dat kan door de simkaart eruit te halen en die in een gewone telefoon te stoppen en dan de code eraf halen?
Anders zit het denk ik in het menu van de radio net zoals bij een telefoon.
Helaas heb ik nu een Mokka en kan ik het niet meer controleren! Hoop dat dit helpt

Hey! My Astra has the CD 300 system, which on one hand means it's got a pretty crap radio, it on the other hand also means that the speakers are quite bad, and there are no speakers in the hind doors. Did you upgrade your sound system, and if so, how and with what components?
No I just replaced the radio. I'm not an audio buff. I just play music at normal volume so a topnoch audio system doesn't appeal to me. Sorry I can't help.
my original amp. navi 800 was extermly better than amp. in this unit, but you forget that when you start using the multimedia..
Hoi Sander, duidelijke video, heeft me geholpen met de installatie van de Tesla Android radio in mijn eigen auto. heb Navi650 vervangen, maar loop tegen een probleempje op. Systeem werkt prima, maar weet jij hoe ik de originele achteruitrijcamera aansluit op de Tesla? Heb nog wel twee kabels in de Opel over, maar dat zijn geen video tulpstekkers die in de Tesla moeten.
Dat zou ik helaas niet weten, als gezegd ik ben geen automonteur maar slechts een kantoorknuppel met twee linkerhanden 😂

I really dont know. Just download a radio app for Android and use that instead :p.

Hi. Aftwer viewing your reviuw, I am interested in buying the TS10-4G for my Opel Astra J. Can I just please ask you to be on the safe side if all the car setting (climate settings, park sensors, vehicle controls, confort settings) and the wheel controls work with this android Unit?

I wouldnt know. As I say in my installation video, I'm not a car mechanic, and i have the most basic Astra. You should ask the vendor!
Only Sensors are working if its original on the car and other settings work perfectly

Heb je de externe speaker geïnstalleerd? Dat zwarte ronde ding? Die had ik eerst ook niet geïnstalleerd.

What phone? it works with bluetooth. and yes i put an extra microphone that came with the package
I have 3 questions:
1) Where can i fit the sim card into the system?
2) Does the system have apple car play?
3) When answering phone calls on system, how clear is the calls & microphone? as i can see a microphone cutting on the top left.
1: if you look into the description of my other video there is an image of the console. It has a simcard slot on a cable. It uses large simcard so no micro or mini.
2: Guess not, its Android
3: very clear. I use an external microphone. Easy to install. See other video

Hi. Does your settings on canbus said Astra? I can only choose GM/Cruze one that works in 75%. Do you have any knowledge about canbus decoder and where settings are stored?

I installed mine perfectly. Everything worked. But I removed everything again because the cables were not sitting well. Since I removed it the screen is not working anymore. The buttons are perfectly working but the screen stays black. Any suggestion of what I could do? Thank you

Maybe try again and otherwise contact the dealer. Maybe a cable is broken

Mine whenever I install an App and turn it off it leaves my car with Chinese language is it normal? Then I have to disassemble and put the old radio back.

Look into the bt menu and reset everything and also on your phone. Try a new connection. I had this problem too and after some fiddeling around it worked again..

Yes, there is a special menu for the steering wheel.
I have the most basic astra so no controls for me. So i honestly dont know for sure..

Hoi Sander, dankjewel voor het filmpje! Ik wil een zelfde model als die van jou halen. Ik heb eigenlijk nog wat vragen over de werking van de radio.
- Hoe is het scherm in de avond? Is het enorm vel, of wordt het automatisch donkerder wanneer je lichten inschakelen? Ik heb nu de originele NAVI600 en die is eigenlijk te vel in de avond.
- Start de radio meteen met afspelen van muziek na het starten van je auto via bijv. Spotify of tunein? Of moet je altijd handmatig je muziek starten?
- Blijven de originele parkeer sensoren werken?

Scherm in de avond is behoorlijk fel, maar je kunt hem handmatig dimmen of uit zetten als het goed is.
De laatst gebruikte app start op, dat is bij mij vaak waze of Spotify, maar ook dat kun je grotendeels instellen in het menu.
Ja de parkeersensoren werken prima met een animatie hoever je er vanaf zit.

Duurde ongeveer 3 weken en hoefde geen invoerrechten te betalen. Maar misschien is die van mij ertussendoor gefietst ;)
@@sndr1384 Hey Sander, ik heb het setje afgelopen vrijdag mogen ontvangen en ben er natuurlijk meteen mee aan de slag gegaan icm met jouw duidelijke installatie instructie. Ik ben echter tegen een paar punten aangelopen die de installatie toch heeft belemmerd. Heb jij hier misschien tips voor? Ik heb de verkoper ook al om advies gevraagd, maar helaas nog niks van mogen vernemen.
- De airbag kabel past niet op de ISO stekker. Hierdoor krijg ik bij het starten van de auto een Airbag service waarschuwing en een rood airbag status ligt op mijn dashboard. Was de stekker voor jou wel goed en hoe heb je dit aangesloten en opgelost? (Foto: imgur.com/a/cI3Q5ML )
- Bij het openen van de speaker in het midden van de dashboard had ik blijkbaar een extra speaker. (Nooit gemerkt) :-). Maar hier kan ik nu niet de extra antennes voor de GPS en 4G kwijt. Heb jij nog een idee waar ik de antennes netjes kan wegstoppen en monteren? Of is het echt zo dat ik de speaker eruit zou moeten slopen? Dit zou natuurlijk zonde zijn.

Bekijk mijn installatie video, en voor het airbag probleem moet je bij de verkoper zijn. Ik ben geen automonteur maar iemand met twee linkerhanden.
Het is een android systeem, ik weet dat er carplay op zit maar meer durf ik niet te zeggen

Yes, but its the same as with your phone. You have to use a simcard for the data provider

Goeie video! Vraagje, ik heb nu op mijn Astra aan staan dat in het donker mijn lichten gaan branden als ik de auto open. Kan dat bij deze radio ook? Of kunnen alleen de knipperlichten knipperen met openen? En kan ik de originele usb en aux port overnemen?
Oeh! Die vraag wil ik je eigenlijk aan jou stellen, hoe krijg je de lichten aan? Ik krijg alleen de alarmlichten. Kan misschien te maken hebben met wat voor Astra je hebt. Ik heb geen stuurknoppen ofzo.
Ik zie aan je opmerking dat je een radio hebt met usb en aux port. Die had ik al niet. Zoals ik al zei in de video heb ik de meest basis Astra en ben ik geen automonteur maar een simpele kantoorknupple met nul auto evaring ;)

It makes me wonder... I got the same exact model (8 cores) what about its temperature? Today with 19 degrees Celsius outside, the unit went up 73 degrees.
I have no problems with the temperature I think. How do you know the temperature of the unit?
@@sndr1384 During the installation I noticed that the back side of the screen was getting hot. I have installed a cpu temperature monitoring app. The cpu does not go below 73c-75c (with outside temperature 19c)

Hi Leno, There is a way to do what you want. But because I have 2 left hands and no skills. I would ask the vendor. They sell separete units for sports and touring
@@sndr1384 Hey, thanks for your answer. I think i have to read and seperate the canbus codes from the buttons with an arduino and a canbus shield. I would programm this to emulate the codes. But it is a lot of work and buying these buttons would make it a lot of easyier.

Have you activated your simcard? I had to activate my new simcard first by using an old phone to fit in the large simcard.
After activation I put it in the radio simcard holder. Restart the radio and everything worked! Let me know if this helped!
first you solve the sim problem with your mobile provider, then you plug in the sim card reader.. sholud be worked

Ik wou eigenlijk een prive bericht sturen, maar dat is niet gelukt. Ik heb namelijk laatst de TS-4G van Prelingcar besteld (nu niet meer te krijgen op Amazon, zojuist achter gekomen).
Hopelijk kun jij me verder helpen, ik heb alles namelijk aangesloten en alles werkt. Ik heb alleen slechte antenne FM ontvangst. Nu zaten er op het huidige navigatie systeem 2 aansluitingen; 1 voor de antenne en 1 voor de GPS denk ik. De ene betreft een blauwe aansluiting, de ander een zwarte aansluiting.
Vraag 1: de zwarte aansluiting betreft de FM aansluiting? De blauwe de GPS?
Vraag 2: Er zat een verloop stekker bij, van Antenna Fakra Z aansluiting naar antenna DIN aansluiting, met daarbij een blauw draad. Weet jij toevallig of ik dat blauwe draad ergens moet aansluiten? Dit stond namelijk niet op de (erg summiere) handleiding vermeld.
Ik hoor graag van je 😊

Ik ben slechts een kantoorknuppel die een radio erin heeft geschroefd maar ik ga je proberen te helpen!
Als eerste, bekijk mijn installatie filmpje ua-cam.com/video/UKAJPhHhZJk/v-deo.html
Ik denk dat de zwarte de antenne is, ik heb die namelijk ook net geinstalleerd in mijn nieuw Opel Mokka (zie dit filmpje ua-cam.com/video/5QiVgvTXr4Q/v-deo.html) de blauwe deed niets. De antenna farka z moet je waarschijnlijk dus aansluiten aan de zwarte, en het uiteinde met de pin achter in je android radio.
Mocht dit niet werken, doe als ik deed: Download een NL radio app en je hebt altijd goed geluid!
(Waarom heb je anders een android radio gekocht? Had je beter de oude radio kunnen houden ;))
GPS zit bij mij apart aan de radio door een gps ontvanger die ik achterin de radio moest schroeven. Deze leg je voorin voor zo'n goed mogelijk ontvangst.
Ik hoop dat dit een beetje helpt!

Kun je ook via beeldscherm alles uitzetten acu (besparing)
Bespaarstand blijft drie dagen in slaap modus en valt dan uit.
Is uit te zetten maar een volledige opstart duurt 20 seconden en is irritant om elke keer op te wachten

I have fitted same in my astra works fine. One question though, my spotify app is stuck in lanscape so i loose some of the button options. I have tried changing settings to auto rotate but doesn't seem to want to change. Did you do anything to yours or should i try re-installing the app?
I just fitted mine today thankfully Spotify stays in portrait mode for me, but my 4G isn’t working did you use a normal SIM card or was it a data SIM card?

My Spotify also is in potrait mode so I don't have the problem. Maybe a re-install would fix it. Otherwise maybe there is an app that forces spotify in portait mode?
To answer the 4g problem. Register/Activate your card first on a old phone with large simcardslot after that, put it in your car

Did you bought the right version? On my other video's there is an link to aliexpress and in the description you can choose between 2 versions. On the images you can see what the buttons do. I have the basic Astra so i don't have those buttons

@@sndr1384 hi yes after checking the link you gave me I re ordered unit you recommended. I also chatted with the supplier about how to mod the eco button and airbag light and for anybody interested they supply or you can make a Y connector so you keep the original dash buttons ie central locking hazard light and airbag lights connected to the Y connector and hide it in the dash the other half of the Y connector plugs into the new android unit this will stop airbag faults with the car. The eco button you have to buy a very small electronic 12v push button and fit it next to the cigarette lighter link one pin to ground (black) the other to blue signal wire this will become the new eco button hope this helps.

Interested to know if the buttons you were looking for can be found in the units menu’s.. noticed when Sander went into the Car settings the first time there was a folder a little way down called original fascia or similar and am wondering if the Eco option can be accessed from there also. @@jsis1917 yes actually installed it today all working very impressed with it to be fair had a look through the menu couldn't see any option for the eco button so just hard wired it. Have a complete spare panel that I have to now sell for the same vechile as I accidentally ended up with two 🤣

Ja het is een high end product en je kunt ze alleen maar via AliExpress kopen.
Alle Nederlandse webshops importeren die ook via AliExpress en zetten er vaak nog een bedrag bovenop en een oudere versie. Dubbel niks dus.
Ja via AliExpress bestellen, alles is bij mij binnen gekomen en je wordt keurig op de hoogte gehouden van de levering.

Ik ga mischien een OPC ASTRA J Kopen en zag deze Tesla Display Optie nu voor het eerst sinds gisteren. Was meteen verbaasd. Het ziet er echt 100 X beter en moderner uit qua Cockpit Optik. Plus dat je al die Moderne Dingen kunt doen van Autos die net new op de Markt zijn.. Internet.. @@larshartmann609 simkaart slot zit aan een kabeltje wat je achterin de radio doet. Simkaart leg je bij de versnellingspook zodat als er iets is je er makkelijk bij kunt.
In de beschrijving staan de links naar wat ik gekocht heb. Altijd de duurste kopen die het meeste Ram heeft anders heb je een traag werkend scherm en dat frustreert.
Voor installatie gewoon mijn video een paar keer bekijken. Ook de achteruit camera is makkelijk.
Zelf heb ik twee linkerhanden qua auto's maar als ik het kan kun jij t ook!

Tjonge dat is wel duur!
- Ik heb een kaart van Lebara simonly 2gb voor 9 euro. Dus géén data only, die zijn niet te betalen. Ik bel daar niet mee maarja boeiend.
- Je zou creatief de sim only in Nederland kunnen kopen. Tarieven zijn in de EU hetzelfde gemaakt.
- Deze maand heb ik 1,4gb gebruikt. Dat is voornamelijk Waze en Spotify.
- Wifi only zou ik niet doen. Ik had het eerst ook zo en dan via een hotspot van mijn telefoon maar dat werkte niet zo soepel. Moeite met verbinden, traag, WiFi netwerk vergeten enz. Eenmaal op 4g verdwenen die problemen en instant Internet!

Naja je kunt best de 4g versie met WiFi kopen hoor, werkt wel maar niet zo snel.
Mijn vorige versie (oude) deed het ook alleen op een hotspot. Werkte gewoon.
Goedkoop is meestal duurkoop.

Ik heb hem pas ingebouwd alleen kom wat problemen tegen dus ik hoop dat je me misschien kan helpen.
1. Mijn radio verbinding is heel slecht kan alleen 538 ontvangen hoe los ik dit op?
2. Als ik de auto start krijg ik afentoe airbag melding dat deze is uitgeschakeld heb jij dit probleem ook?
3. Als ik bel kan de gene aan de andere kant van de lijn me niet goed horen hij hoord me dan heel verweg.
Ik hoop dat je me een beetje opweg kan helpen alvast bedankt.
1: Download de 538 app en laat radio voor wat het is, de ontvangst is helaas verschrikkelijk.
2: Klopt, je kunt kunt de verkoper een bericht sturen en er zit een kabeltje bij met 4 aansluitingen waarmee je dat kunt overrulen. Ik heb dat niet gedaan omdat bij mij de melding stopte.
3: Heb je de externe microfoon aangesloten? deze heb ik op de stuurkolom achter het stuur bevestigd en doet het goed.

2. Oke je de ene keer geeft hij die melding en de andere keer niet dus hoop dat die bij mij ook weg gaat.
3. Ik heb hem bij de plafond verlichting geplakt waar de oude microfoon ook zit maar denk dat ik een nieuwe microfoon ga kopen misschien dat die dan beter werkt

@@ricardo311990 als je lid word van tesla astra j groep op fb staat alles voorgedaan. Je moet het oude gedeelte van je radio met die airbag lichtjes loskoppelen van je oude radio dan kan je hem aansluiten en achter je tesla wegstoppen

@@eliaspeitz3439 @Elias Peitz yes i did, but it´s a relly dumb solution to be honest^^ you have to remove the original airbaglightstrip (be carefull, it has 8 clips or so^^) then you have to use that y-cable with these grey connectors wich came with the tesla radio and plug it into the original harness. then you take the other cable with the grey connector and plug it into the first plug of the y-cable and the other end with the little white connector into the teslaradio. after that you take that airbaglightstrip and plug it into the 2. grey connector from the y- cable. after all that you just hide your airbaglightstrip behind the teslaradio.... so it´sstill there, you just can´t see it anymore :D

Unfortunately I had the cheapest Astra there was without the parking sensor. Also I have sold my Astra for a Mokka so I don't know, but you can ask the vendor! They are willing to help ☺️

Yes, but I don't care for old radio reception. The reason I bought this radio is for the apps. So solution for bad radio reception? Download a radio app and your done...
sound amplifier is poor, my original navi 800 was much better, but you forget it for few weeks when you start using multimedia.. radio station is also poor then original antena, so your benefit is install tune in radio app. and listen clear station via 4G LTE

Astra J is a model between 2009 and 2015. "Normal astra" are different models from 1991 to 2023 (F, G, H, J, K, L)...

Yes i have parking sensors.
The original radio only made sound, now i also have a visual image with green to red when driving near an object.

Does the sleep mode not drain the battery?
In the settings u can choose how long the radio has to go into sleep mode, from a few hours to 5 days max. I have used this radio for over 8 months (including no driving due to covid) and I didn't have any issues. Hope this helps!

sound amp. is not very good at all but you can change the sound settings and balance spot, also you can change the power of amp. and set low decibels in advanced settings with acc. pass 12345678, my was extremly loud..
