To be honest, I believe Tanki X is better than Tanki Online in every single way. I don't mean the new version of Tanki Online, I mean the old ones as well

They tried to make a proper game that could succeed when their outdated flash game fades away... but this effort failed. Now all that is left to work with is this outdated game and to do their very best to update it so it may find a new audience... But tanki X will always stand as a testament of the time tanki online tried to be a proper game, and it’s hard not to look at its failure and not feel that they blew it and won’t get it again. It’s a shame I came to this game so late... I find it so fun. But sadly it’s hard to ignore that it was once something bigger. May tanki survive the death of flash, reinvent itself, and somehow avoid the fate of tanki X.
