#7 of 7, the last H&S and the last Color Classic, replaced by those second rate Gabby cartoons. What a shame. This wonderful, far too short, series was built on an almost unique, and successful, thematic of the power of absolute tenderness, trust, love, and care of the bond between a mother and her child. It was more often beautiful than funny (but was still very comedic). I barely knew it before, but it is one of the many Fleischer jewels.

If you watch cartoons from other studios of this time period, especially MGM and Warner Bros, you'll find that a lot of them were just as violent if not moreso than today's cartoons.

Awww i didnt had the chance to watch these toons on tv now these days on tv are most violents or disturbing toons with some really creepy images O_O like did you saw some pictures in ,,Flapjack,, (O____________O ')
