Okinawa is different from the mainland especially since Okinawa is flooded with Americans from the military bases and because of that a lot of ex-pats have set up businesses there catering to Americans. Okinawa has more foreigners per capita then the rest of Japan.
I’ve been in a few trips to Japan, every single time I went there it was quite difficult for me to find women, online dating always sucked, I only got a couple matches on Tinder and Bumble, but they were never Japanese girls, the girls were from the Philippines, or Thailand. I did meet some Japanese women at bars or on the street using cold approaches, but there was only one of these girls that I actually dated all the other ones were just one night stands.
Yep. It's a unique dating culture...probably has something to do with the population of Japan going to zero. But, still a great country to live in for a year. Then go to a different Asian country, and get a good girlfriend.
