The boys are Electrical Enginering students (the one in a middle in his Masters program) and the girl BioScience degree. They sing at home together. Epoch times did an article on them and how these homeschooling kids who love science now sing like angels together! They are just finding their way in the music arena when not in college classes. Great READ on the family.
So glad you have discovered this group. I found them by accident last Christmas and was moved to tears by this song. They have an unusual high level of skill and artistry coupled with a very sweet easy going style of delivery that is really beautiful.
Sounds as all have perfect pitch and are beyond their years in experience. Their music reaches my soul not just the entertainment level of enjoyment. A very special and rare quality. Their output is amazing and I just discovered them last night. At eighty two I grieve for what passes for much of what passes for Christian music today. The sound does not come easy, it takes time and work even with the amazing talent they possess. Thanks to them for their dedication and hard work.
Thank you Jimmy! I've been waiting for a Reaction to Life in 3D. Mrs. Jimmy has an ear for amazing talent, and you are a wise man. Life in 3D is a sibling trio from Arizona. They all attend college. They are relatively new to UA-cam (just over one year now.) They put a lot of thought into the arrangement of their "off-the-chart" harmonies. Their subscriptions, views, and likes have spiked recently primarily due to a series of Christmas songs they released in December 2023, but they have so much to offer besides Holiday music. Please help support Life in 3D and continue to React to their music videos. Your listeners will appreciate their beautiful gift, and they deserve the recognition!
They are so great. They all go to ASU. They didn’t sing until they got to high school choir. Then they started singing around the house. I just found them tonight and are definitely going to follow them from now on.
The sum of the parts is greater than the whole! Synergy and its best. I am in my 70th year and I grew up on the harmonies in the '60s from the Beach Boys to The Beatles and the Mamas and Papas. GNT burst on the scene from The Voice. I'm a music connoisseur and Life in 3D is the best of the best. They seem to be doing everything right but they need to be found in greater masses. The world needs Life in 3D at this moment. Music heals! I pray that someone with good intentions and the proper outlet will reach out to them and act as their musical mentor and manager, free of charge! God bless.
Just not found by the evil music industry, more with the Gaithers music industry so they don't get their souls captured like Taylor, Amy, Lauren and others.
They used to live near me. I first heard them sing together in church. They are one of my favorite group of singers right now. Yes they live in AZ. They all have names beginning with the letter D.
Yes, Jimmy, best thanks to your wife - this was just beautiful. Melodious, harmonious, such mellow perfectly matching voices. Seems they sang to a pre-recorded piano soundtrack. Like Nicholas, I only can imagine Karolina's religious violin and Ella's live piano added, it could simply be out of this world! Definitely a "like"!
Great reaction Jimmy to this lovely Christmas song, a great song of faith. There harmonies were beautiful. I could imagine them performing with Karolina.
I imagine everyone who hears them for the first time is similarly blown away. I've been following them for a while now and KNEW that was gonna be Jimmy's reaction as soon as they started singing.
How about that last note at the end ( the word "know" ) that Devon ( boy on the right ) belted out with every bit of breath in his lungs ? UNBELIEVABLE !!! I guess others have said, that their first names all start with a "D" but the fact that their voices seem to blend together like they are IN 3-D is amazing.
I discovered them last year when I was looking for Christmas music. I was awed by their harmonies. They provide evidence that sibling harmonies usually have the best blending of voices. Their challenging college majors, such as engineering, suggest that they are not expecting a career in music, but they really need to consider pursuing a career in music because of their talent. Some of their other videos share some personal information about the group if you are interested in learning more.
Listen to the "the parting glass" where the bass resonates (through bose headphones anyway) rather like the drone on a bagpipe (without suggesting it's a droning sound). And very old 1700's Scottish heritage parting tune - beautiful.
You are right about the boy in the dark blue coming in seamlessly. It’s amazing to hear him do this in their songs, keeping the flow moving. Amazing group!
You need to listen to more of their music to evaluate them. The one in the blue “shirt” has a vocal range like no other, the middle sibling brother is consistent in his tone and vocal range, the sister is like wow. Amazing young people. They all three are in college, unusual for sure, all at the same time. Made me think they are triplets or twins and a singleton.
They are all in college & they have not said how old they are so we don't know if the oldest one is a junior in college or is a senior in college. So the youngest has to be a freshman or in their second year of college. Their voices are beautiful and their harmony is fantastic. I love to hear & watch them sing♥♥♥
I've been following them since their beginning and LOVE them! Every song is fantastic. Tonight they released their version of 'Hallelujah' from the Shrek. movie. It is next on my listening list. The question I have about them is 'are they Mormon?' I suspect that they are - many Mormon young people are so talented and so dedicated to quality practice. I am so impressed by them AND by Life In 3d. Does anyone know?
@@jenbavender4187 yes, on Daylon Veater's FB, there's a photo of him with a nametag indicating he's an elder in an LDS church. I'm not LDS but I do appreciate the music of these siblings. They are quite talented.
Devon, the lad on the right occasionally plays the guitar in their videos. They really are an incredible trio and the way they harmonise and interact with each other, smiling with pride when one of them does a solo is so wholesome!
I've been following 'Life in 3D', and that is how I stumbled upon this video. An accidental blessing indeed. Ironically, 'Mary did You Know' is one my faves, but even moreso, I love to give credit where credit is due, and today it is due to you. Here is this writers nutshell tell: Your personality is very likeable, your vocabulary and communication is relatable to all. You don't use language which can be considered divisive by any particular difference amongst people. You have just the right amount of humor injection, which is seemingly a natural part of your personality. So that's good, you're not an actor. You clearly have good taste in women, because your wife loves 'Life in 3D'. And as a fellow brethren in Christ, I will conclude with my surprise when I saw you didn't have millions of subscribers (full compliments intended). They are indeed amazing. No weak link in sight either... the Giver of talent was equally generous to all three. I too recently discovered their music and am still learning of their journey. I believe, if I understand correctly, that the group name stems from the fact that their first names all start with the letter "D." But I could be mistaken. Safe to say it's been a journey of incredible accomplishments and growth. Thank-you for promoting their music with your review and enthusiastic response.
Hey Jimmy Great Reaction!! I would love to see you react to "O Holy Night" by them! Its actually the best cover of it i have ever heard! Like and Sub is there! See you :)

I learned from them that they typically collaborate on the arrangements of their performances too. Their talents extend beyond their beautiful voices.
One of the reasons that the group is called 'Life in 3D' is because the 3 members/siblings have first names that begin with 'D': Don, Devon and Daura.
