I’m watching this now after rereading The Hiding Place. I’m 25 years old. I want to have a relationship with the Lord. I want the joy and peace the Lord has gifted this woman even after all she’s been through. I want the assurance that even in death I will be with Jesus. Please, all pray for me!

The Captain; Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for all our sins. He died for the sins of the whole world! He was buried and rose again on the third day. Jesus broke the chains of death. And he has promised us eternal life to all those that believe in him. Call upon Jesus. Ask him to save you! And His goodness will bring forth repentance!

I second what Desma said. He will receive you today, right now, as you read this. He wants you to be His child (John 1:12), adopt you into the family of believers (Romans 8:16), leave no doubt in your mind (1 John 5:13), and all you have to do is confess and believe who He says He is (Romans 10:9-10). God bless you!

Dear friend...I read Corrie's story in ' The Hiding Place' about 50 years ago, and it has changed my life. I have reread it many times because it has helped me so very much to understand the truth. I recommend that journey to you as the path is not always easy but you will be equipped as Corrie was in her time on earth

Corrie Ten Boom lived 9 more years after this interview. Because of strokes she couldn’t speak the last 5 years of her life. She left this earth on April 15 1983 her 91st birthday. 40 years later she still encourages us.

This opinion varies at different places. For example, for Chinese people the past is a horrible memory and they are living their greatest time now. Another example, the British people of 19th century and pre-ww2 enjoyed the most lavish and dominating life but the present situation of Britain is really really different.

What an inspiring, moving testimony, it reaches out 50 years later, a message of hope and strength through Jesus Christ.
She shares the wonderful Grace of Christ but doesn't hold back on the trials , tribulations and abuse that Christians will be confronted with.
I want to recognize and commend the late Pat Robertson, most TV talk show hosts whether Christian or secular always try to insert themselves into an interview until it can be distracting for the guest and the viewer.
But here, Mr Robertson allowed Corrie to speak at length , never interrupting except to pose an occasional question or a brief comment.
Because of this, even after the passage of 50 years, one can see the power of the Holy Spirit working through Corrie and it leaves a powerful lasting testimony that reaches out and touches us today.

I have known Corrie for so long. That is how Blessed I have been! And she died such a sad death I will never understand why the Lord allowed her to die in this way. She actually dreamed of her death. She told her companion: I feel as though I am I a dark room and I cant get out. And that's how she died. From some kind of stoke I believe. Never to speak or move again. As though she was sleeping. But she had some happy times in the house she chose for the last days of her life. I can't remember exactly, but I think she lived in silence for her last two years. Their is a book called : The Last 5 years of Corrie Ten Boom. But I have forgotten her last companion, the author. Thank you.

Hey 700 Club, you need to correct this video description. I'm sure the interview with Pat Robertson was in 1974, but you state Corrie was arrested by Nazis in 1974 and there are a few other errors in this description! 😮
Corrie's sister didn't survive the concentration camp so she wasn't liberated by the British like Corrie. Please edit the year errors and others.

27:30 She said after the whole ordeal that she had no animosity towards anyone, just forgiveness.
She said that she was released from the camp because of a "clerical error." I don't believe that. Either one of the people who she saved didn't forget about it and used connections and put in motion a way to get her out. Or, her time in the camp in spite of maltreatment she hated no one and one of these people set it up where she was freed.

Many years ago I read a story about an elderly woman and her husband living in an eastern block country behind the iron curtain who was very crippled with arthritis but spoke both English and her native language. Everyday her husband would sit her on the couch, prop her up, and bring a typewriter to her. She would spend her day typing with the one mobile finger she had translating Christian classics from English into her native tongue. I'm thinking it was Corrie who told this story in one of her books, but I can't remember for sure. Can anyone help me?

Yes, I remember reading this too! I have a feeling it was either in one of her other books or a book about Christians helping the Jews out of Russia, I have a feeling the beginning of the title was Exodus.

How interesting this is being viewed now. Corrie thought the world was bad then,,,, she had no idea just how bad it would get.. so we believe,, as it was in the days of Noah so it shall be….. remain faithful. The North American church believes they will just be whisked away and not suffer… she knew then that isn’t true. This church will go through a purifying..

    - kung sya nagawa nyang magshare ng gospel sa loob mismo ng death camp, may church service pa, paano pa kayo tayo na malaya. Wow. As apostle paul says, "to live is for Christ and to die is gain". Malamang marami tong korona sa langit.
