Tante Corrie is my favorite Bible study teacher. In all she had endured and accomplished , this dear gal's 'blunders' are cause for laughter and learning. I cannot wait to meet her!!! On Surrendering..... if you've ever read Pilgrim's Progress, Christian didn't pick up the burden, that had slid off his back at the Cross, and drag it through the rest of his journey. Once it was off his back, he let it stay where it was. For reasons known only to God and a good shrink, we pray for relief of our problems (Psalm 62: 8, Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7) and then we pick 'em up again. I read one quote that said, *"Give it to God and go to sleep."*
You know people today we think oh it's my life it's my body I can do whatever I want yes you can but you may be sorry for eternity we don't choose the punishments God does and we don't choose a rewards God gives us great rewards it's it's difficult to think that you don't own yourself and God owns you he gives you the chance to choose between Good and Evil your whole life But ultimately are we are his and you will decide what to do with us
How can people give the thumbs down when Jesus has done so much for us.
