Breaking Bad is a drama television series created & produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set & filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high-school chemistry teacher who is struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer. White turns to a life of crime & partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld.
Among the stars are Anna Gunn & RJ Mitte as Skyler & Walter Jr., & Betsy Brandt & Dean Norris as Marie Schrader & husband Hank, a DEA agent. The show received numerous awards, including 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, eight Satellite Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards, & four Television Critics Association Awards. Cranston won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series four times, while Aaron Paul won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series three times; Anna Gunn won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series twice. In 2013, Breaking Bad entered the Guinness World Records as the most critically acclaimed TV show of all time.
The series gave rise to Better Call Saul, a prequel featuring Odenkirk, Banks, & Esposito reprising their Breaking Bad roles. A sequel film, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, starring Paul was released on Netflix & in theaters.
Also features Raymond Cruz as Tuco Salamanca, Mark Margolis as Hector Salamanca, Lavell Crawford as Huell Babineaux, & Steven Michael Quezada as Steven Gomez.

The explosion effect in Saul’s commercial is so insensitive that it’s hilarious, makes me wonder if the film crew made it for him

A lot of people have horrible bosses but I can't imagine anyone having no concern for an employee who collapsed and was hauled off in an ambulance from a business that they own.

I always really liked the arms dealer Walt buys the gun from. He has a very comforting, "southern grandpa" vibe if that makes sense, like I can picture him teaching his grandson to ride a bike, but not immediately helping him if he falls as sort of a "you have to go through the downs to experience the ups" method of teaching lessons. Not quite tough love, but just a very honest and motivating mentor figure that emphasizes hard work. I'm from Texas so I may be drawing a little bias here lol

3:45 in the full dialogue, she says "If you're not willing to pull the trigger on this," which is a double entendre for Walt, waving a gun around, intending on pulling the trigger on Gus, rather than "call Goodman" (for the guy that can make them disappear)

Funny thing about Skinny Pete and Badger talking about video games in this episode, they talk about Resident Evil 4 which means RE exists in the BB universe, but in Resident Evil Vendetta, they talk about Breaking Bad, which means BB exists in the RE universe. Safe to say, by association, Breaking Bad exists in Breaking Bad 🤯

Vendetta came out in 2017, by that time maybe they made a TV show about Walt's criminal activities in the BB universe and called it Breaking Bad!

the dB level at 1:36 is probably dBFS "Decibels relative to full scale", which shows how much quiter or louder the heard signal is in comparison to the signal coming from the source media. Normally you'd see something between -50dBFS and -10dBFS, but it being at plus 25dB means Jesse is cranking it past healthy levels of loudness

In a show full of iconic quotes the most underrated is Mike telling Walt to learn to take yes for an answer.

I just watched the episode today and I think in the scene where a car is going through a car wash right before Skyler goes in to try to buy it from Bogdan, the scene it is sped up by the way the car and people move in the background. I had seen someone else bring up the sticky note, but I zoom into every paper, sign, screen, etc. looking for anomalies. It often doesn’t disappoint!

At least strictly within the bounds of season 4 credit themes, and as far the episodes you've covered so far, I'd personally rank this episode's credits theme under Box Cutter's. Like I said at the video for that episode, Box Cutter's theme really grew on me. Thirty-Eight Snub's is pretty cool, but I like Box Cutter's better.
