Hell yeah!! Excellent picks gents, so happy to be a part of this one! Thank you so much again Feral for having me on, I can't tell you how grateful I am to be able to talk about such an intriguing subject in this series :D
Great collaborators and picks, my friends! And Feral with a clutch pick in Portrait of Ruin! I’ve NEVER played any of the DS entries and am still hoping they get ported on a collection of some sort…though that’ll be tough with some of the features with Dawn of Sorrow.
This was a great video idea! Everyone had great picks. I think my favorite version of Dracula‘s Castle is from Dawn of Sorrow. I liked all the different environments within the castle in the game.
Thanks Serg! That's an awesome pick! Hoping for a DS Castlevania Collection at some point so I can play it on a console. Definitely would love to stream Dawn of Sorrow.
Thanks! This was a fun collab to make. This topic was one that I personally went back and forth on several times. There are sooo many good Castles in the franchise.
Okay, this was a lot of fun because best CASTLE!? I've never even considered that! Really dig the choices here though. And, I mean, SOTN's will always be closest to my heart for all those nostalgic vibes. 😊
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words! Symphony of the Night is a very popular castle and I think would win this topic hands down if it were an election lol. It was tough for me. I've always gone back and forth between it being the castle from IV, SotN, or Portrait of Ruin. Had to go with the Super Mario 64 of Castlevanias though for my pick 🎨
This would be so hard for me! First off, I haven't played them all BUT the ones I have were all so excellent that I'm torn!!! I mean SOTN and the inverted castle, cmon, but then there's Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia. Loved those layouts and games as well.
I know! It was so hard for me to pick just one. I went back and forth between Castlevania IV and Portrait of Ruin. End of the day I had to go with the one with the paintings!
This was a great listen, It's funny because I have most of the games But I've actually never played any of them 😂 I do plan to getting round to them eventually
Thanks Marc! I would recommend beginning with Super Castlevania IV it is one of the more forgiving of the Classicvanias. If you are looking to start with the more Metroidvania style titles, Symphony of the Night is a good one to start with.
It's a tough thing to separate. Our favorites sometimes may not be the best in certain areas. In my case, it ended up being true for both my favorite Castlevania and what I considered had the best castle. But I will say, I went back and forth several times
I had an opportunity to play Castlevania 3 on a Famicom back in October at an event called Retro Game Con. Would like to play through that version to completion someday!
I haven't play that one but I have heard good things about it. I got so turned off by Castlevania 64 back in the day that I skipped the rest of the 3D entries lol. Hopefully they make a 3D Castlevania Collection someday so I can play them live.
@@thisismarkz oh my bad, I should have been more specific in my response. I meant the other game you mentioned, Lament of Innocence. I am very familiar with SotN 😁 Got to play that back in the day on the original PS1.

Thanks for joining us on it, I appreciate you being a part of this collab! I always enjoy hearing your passion for all things Castlevania!
Glad I could be a part of it! It was a pleasure working with all of you.
Thanks for providing a great segment! It was cool learning more about the Famicom and NES differences.
This was a lot of fun mate and a ripper of a question that really got me think. Thanks so much for inviting to be a part of it
Thanks for joining in on this! It was cool hearing about the Saturn version, have always been curious about the bonus areas!
Awesome collab guys! Shoutouts to Big Reecey, great seeing one of the Aussies in here! 🔥
Thanks Nimbus! Big Reecey is a good friend and a great content creator. Super grateful he was a part of this collab ✌️😸🔥

Thanks, Fox! Agreed, I hope they find a way to get around some of the challenges of the DS games, would absolutely love a DS Castlevania Collection!
Great video guys! I like that you guys went with best castles that's such a unique idea!
Thanks Rad! It was fun trying to decide. So many good castles in the series! 😺🔥
Hard as balls!!!
Castlevania games certainly have a strong difficulty level.
New Subscriber here. Keep being awesome.
Thanks Andy! Hope you enjoy the content 😺🔥

I loved hearing all the different point of views

This has put me in the mood for some haunted castle.
That game is pretty tough! Someday I'll play it on the channel 😺🔥

I never played portrait of ruin. Always been on my wish list. Sounds like a good time.
It's such an excellent, under-appreciated entry in the series. I highly recommend it.
Feral!
How's it going, buddy?
Haven't been doing much UA-cam as I've been battling a virus, but I'm all good now. Back on top.
💪😂
Savage! Hey, glad to hear you're feeling better man! I just figured you had to get a second job to pay for those Golden Trump shoes ✌️😆
@@FeralInferno lol.
I'd need it. They're a bit out of my price range.😂
I struggle with this because I feel like symphony of the night was my fave lol

I liked FC CV3 more than US one!
I had an opportunity to play Castlevania 3 on a Famicom back in October at an event called Retro Game Con. Would like to play through that version to completion someday!
It would be cool if there was a ROM hack that had the same difficulty as the US version, but all of the Japanese music.
I do love the one in SotN but of course I'm biased. I do like the one in Lament of Innocence
I haven't play that one but I have heard good things about it. I got so turned off by Castlevania 64 back in the day that I skipped the rest of the 3D entries lol. Hopefully they make a 3D Castlevania Collection someday so I can play them live.
@@FeralInferno SotN is not 3D it's a 2D platformer. It's in a bundle on the PS4 mate called Castlevania Requiem. SOTN IN 3D WOULD BE INSANE❤️❤️

Oh hell yeah well my same recommendations is as follows. I recommend Lament Of Innocence it's 10x better than 64
