Been waiting for this video since you last shared about this idea with us and it did not disappoint! Looks absolutely incredible. So happy for you guys 👏🏼👏🏼
So beautiful! I tried diving once in the ocean and everything was really rushed. It was a very bad experience for me and I'm scared to try it again. I will definitely try it again, but this time not in open water. 👌
Oh man, sorry to hear that. Dive lessons shouldn’t be rushed as there can be so many things happening and to be aware of at the same time. The aquarium def helped to instill that bit of confidence esp with the first dive. Hope you can find somewhere with calmer waters to try again!
Achieved one of the many dreams to swim with a Manta Ray, and I got to wave at people on the other side of the tank! 😵 Any of you who are considering taking up diving, or miss diving overseas - this is one heck of an experience.
It’s $250 excluding admission fees ADVENTURE COVE for the dive OPEN OCEAN. So you went for 3 days. Do you have to pay consecutively those 3 days or no…
Diving in open water, you need to worry about more things. Boat, waves, current, weather, visibility etc. Such as getting stung by invisible jellyfish during your safety stop or pulled down by down current. Tank is controlled in a good way, but when you're out for your open water, do pay close attention and assume you know nothing for first few dives. Enjoy the open water.
I would go for this any day instead of actual sea. At the end of the day, the purpose of picking up diving is to explore what's below. If we go for local open water courses, it's usually at Pulau Hantu & the visibility is poor not to mention obviously there wont be variety of fishes. I rather spend my money being able to dive underwater and see everything S.E.A. aquarium has to offer.
Yeah if you’re learning open water in Singapore, don’t bother with anywhere else other than SEA aquarium. You get to learn the fundamentals in conditions that are less stressful

Looks freaking amazing! and it's cheaper than I'd thought it would be.
Yeah exactly! It actually makes more sense than learning at e.g. Tioman where you save on transport time/costs

Wow nice video bro ❤ awesome videography! Am I allowed to bring my own dive gear and do they have a camera man for hire? 😅
Thank you 🙏🏻 I’m not sure about the dive gear and cameraman though, cos I got permission for filming with rws and had a friend to film the dive scenes
@@shawneydepp awesome man, hope you are still diving regularly

Haha schweet! 🤙🏻
Your video super dopeeeee!!!!
Thanks man! 👊🏻
1 qn... how does SEA Aquarium acquire these marine animals. Where did they originate from and how did they eventually end up in the tanks?

That is the single dive pricing. For the padi open water course, it’s $548 for all 3 days

Thanks for the heads up, def gonna be really cautious for the next open water dive and would prolly even get a refresher when the time comes
Haha I don't get the UA-cam algorithm, how does this video have so little views?!?! I've rewatched this so many times
👍🏻
Over 70% of the fishes in that tank is near extinction 😔. Many has been on our dining table.
Damn. I need to read up more about that
