This is a piss me off issue. One the hand i love my stryker radios on thee other hand i would like run them over . My 955 is on its 4rth incoder in 2 years and today it quit working yet again. Im about to order one in a min from stryker. Up side easy install. I should not have to pay for these . Stryker should man up on this issue . Great video by the way . I was about to look into the alps switch 73s. 199 florida georgia line. Oh and they have lost me . I will fix this for the last time and all my stryker radios will be on flea bag for sale soon...

That's sort of the point. The REAL ALPS controls wont fit. The FAKE alps controls will fit. That means you have the chinese copies. Only one person that I know of does that and you can see the aliexpress box and the fake controls in plain view. It's not even hidden. It's just put out there for all to see...... So if that's where they came from mate then sorry, you got cheated. Edit: spelling errors.
Carolina0311, you’re an idiot. I’m actually the valedictorian. I was just stating my experience. It’s held up well and is way better than the stock encoder or the Stryker replacement… even if it was a fake alps (which it isn’t), its still a better option.
I skimmed a little. Don't watch his videos. Noticed a sunon fan that he seemed to try to conceal the number. It's not like it wouldnt take me a few minutes to find that fan if his intention was to obscure it... Those look like 40x40 fans. Easily obtained....

The electrically correct alps encoder with the shorter shaft works great in the strykers with the modified RCI knob. I’ve got it in 3 of mine.
