i have 16? 18? clionadh shadows. every one is perfect. no flaw. zero complaints. top of the top. i love sheer and light/airy color so I have mostly from the electric, glitter, and earth series. don't be intimidated by the amount of different series. for example any series named with 'eletric' means its vibrant, 'glitter' means its very sparkly, 'earth' means grungy leaning, etc etc. p.s. controversial take for Pat is that if you are knee deep in indie shaows pat's special shades will make you go 'meh'.
Oh I didn't know Pat special shades were nit great in comparison to indie.... that's definitely something to think about!! And omg you're making me want Cleonadh even more haha
I have over 200 Clionadh single shadows and 100 of them all multichromes, and i have 0 complaints, Ive been buying from them since 2018. What pastel roses is to you, Clionadh is to me. Im in the NL so shipping and customs is 💸☠️ but I wont stop. Ive also just boight the Paleo palette for the third time and Archeo for the second, and I have all the other palettes and a whole load of their old highlighter formula's. 😂💜 I love them
I treated myself to two Clionadh multichromes when i finished my dissertation, then I bought 6 more for my birthday, then I got 6 more, then 5 more... I think for me it was good to get small amounts soas not to get overwhelmed, even though as an EU person I always want to go big to make the customs charges worth it 😅
I see the appeal with those Hourglass palettes, I want one too. I have a finishing powder and mini blush from them, and the single minis I would recommend! Also, the ambient lighting powder is top notch when it comes to powders. For me anyway, but I don’t have same preferences with base products as you do. And about Pat’s palettes - stay away! They’re not worth it for someone who has indie shadows. I have two Motherships, and they get neglected so much😭
I tried the coverfx duo and it wasn’t great. It was super pigmented, which you would like, but it was really hard to blend. Definitely skip it, there’s much better blushes at the drugstore for a fraction of the cost.
(Debra) Hello Caitlin, According to a online search, the cost of living in Toronto for a single person is over 2700 euro monthly. We are a family of 4 and 2 birds. We dine at home and have season passes for Wonderland theme park (staycation summer) I'm aware of finances and make mindful decisions. With that, I'm happy with my Clionadh's Deep Sea treasures. It came with a note, wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue that had bubbles printed on it, I kept that, it makes me smile, bubble wrap! I'm eyeing more from their site because I enjoy supporting local brands. I already have a lovely collection of indie and drugstore palettes from home and abroad. I encourage you to save but have a fun money fund, too.
I do see the appeal for Pat McGrath palettes but I could not justify spending that money on eyeshadow, not with my current financial situation, deffos cheaper eyeshadows available that can also give beautiful looks! Xx
I bought the original Archeo palette, it was the first indie palette I ever bought. Then I bought their little coloured highlighters, and a handful of single shadows. I still own them all, and they're still really good, I bought a couple of multichromes when they came out. They're beautiful but I have black based ones and on me at the end of the day, they can look like a sooty smudge on my oily eyelids. I probably need a really good primer.. I still have the multichromes too. Clionadh is a Canadian brand which is why the prices can seem even higher than they are. As for taxes, at least there's no customs duty on makeup, you'd still be paying 20% VAT though.
@@CaitlinCostelloyeah those charges will be import VAT, which is different from import duty but still a pain. Unless the rules changed after Brexit. Which is entirely possible. Re the Fenty highlighter, I tried it and it was glitter central and fell off my cheeks. I bought the Stila one and it was very much more wet look
I haven’t been able to convince myself to get Clionadh yet either. I just get overwhelmed looking at single shadows especially at those prices. Haha. I believe Clionadh is actually a Canadian brand. I’m excited to hear that you’re getting more PR! You definitely deserve it. Which of the NYX Buttermelt Blushes are you interested in?
I couldn't believe it when I saw the price!! Definitely put a stop to that!! And I checked beautybay and its only the NYX Bronzer that is available in the UK, so I haven't been able to check shades!
Clionadh is Canadian I have 5 so far & I want more but that shipping gurrrlll🤣🤣🤣I'm in the U.S ..Now I kno how y'all feel🤣🤣🤣..It's worth it no doubt but ouch..I'm wanting so badly to get ahold of The Pastel Roses..I think I'm gonna try them before I get more Clionadh but I will get all the Clionadh 🤣🤣..Love you girl you are amazing❤️
I just can't take that plunge 😅 deffo use my code for money off when you buy from the pastel roses! It's not affiliated, but if your shipping going to be high, gotta save some money!
I will love..I'm just waiting for the money to get right to make that order..You kno how that goes🤣🤣🤣..However some of the best money I ever spent was on Angie's eye brushes..I want the face brushes so bad but those eye brushes changed the game😉
The nyx blushes are so beautiful, I have 300 blushes but these have quickly become a favorite. And they're only 10$ I bought them all😂😂
Omg they look so pretty!

They might have to be a birthday treat 👀

Yes. I definitely have a Pat McGarth Mothership and Hourglass face palette on my wishlist to purchase one day but the price, ouch.
I don't understand why they're so expensive?!?!
I have both and really dont bother! Put your money towards Clionadh instead😂
I tried the coverfx duo and it wasn’t great. It was super pigmented, which you would like, but it was really hard to blend. Definitely skip it, there’s much better blushes at the drugstore for a fraction of the cost.
Oh really?!?! I'll deffo be skipping that then!

Having a fun find is definitely something I struggle with!! I'm too frugal 😅
I do see the appeal for Pat McGrath palettes but I could not justify spending that money on eyeshadow, not with my current financial situation, deffos cheaper eyeshadows available that can also give beautiful looks! Xx
Clionadh is a Canadian brand. They’re my go to for multichromes
They're stunning!
Collection has a dupe for the fenty diamond bomb🌟
I'm gonna have to check that out!
The too faced shades are so pretty ❤❤
Nooooo don't say that 😍😭
My boots has just gotten an elf stand😭it only has like collection, maybelline and revlon, Liverpool was definitely better😂
Omg I know the feeling 😭

Theres no customs on makeup?!?! I've definitely been hit with customs charges before 😭

The hourglass palettes are not worth it, especially getting more than one. Unless you’re going to use it every day, I’d say don’t do it.
I'm so glad I've been put off them!!

I feel the same about the hourglass..I want it so bad but same all the way around
Why is it so appealing?!?!
