We're having a long, chilly spring and it is much WARMER to sit in my bedroom watching your trains go round and round than to sit in my cold basement trainroom watching my own trains go round and round!
Hey, Dave. The trains running through the new scene look great. I think you're on to something. Keep plugging away. Eventually, you'll get there. The built-up scenic lookout looks good. It's almost ready for the fisherman and his best friend. I have the 55 Chevy pickup with a bass boat that would look good there. The postwar trains all look great. You have some really nice pieces for your collection.
Thanks so much. I’ve really been itching to work on the scenery, if only I could take a week off of work and stay home, then I could make some progress!
Nice! I'm catching up on some of the videos that I missed during York and my travels out east. Post-war is always the best. The sounds and smells of the motors and smoke is something special. All of those classic steam engines are a beautiful sight and really make the video. The Baby Ruth train is pretty cool, too. That #41 is moving faster than any other one that I have seen. Mine just grinds along. A fine video, as always.
Thanks much. You really can’t beat the classics. The 41 got a major cleaning, works pretty well. It’s really the memory of the sounds and smell that drew me back to o gauge
This was the most relaxing video to watch. What a great way to relieve stress. All train runs are great, but there’s something about listening to Prewar and Postwar trains. The sounds are so unique and charismatic. I’m home recuperating, and this surely was an excellent way of not needing any pain meds. Thank you Dave. This was fantastic. Tom
Ok Dave, you need to hear this! Stop everything other thing you are doing on the trains and get that dang pink foam board painted before summer lol! Love the videos! Love watching the trains run. I don’t like pink scenery! The NYC ABA’s look so cool! Keep up the great work and videos! Have a great day! @Cbtrainnut!
I’m working on it! Geez! Lol. I’m actually waiting to paint the big mountain until I figure out the extension. I don’t know how much I’ll have to change there. I’ll get there soon! I hope
STILL CAN'T BEAT POST WAR !!!!!!! NEAT VIDEO DAVE. IT'S COMING ALONG, LOOKS GREAT👌
Timeless classics, they will never not be cool!
I like it when you run the good trains.😊😊😊
😃 me too
Love seeing these beauties run Dave!
Thanks
Glad you like them!
Thank You Dave, good ole trains!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice and relaxing. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nothing better than post war. Thanks 😊
I agree!
What a way to unwind after a busy day. Just pop the top on a cold one and watch the trains.
That’s the idea! Glad you enjoyed it.
Postwar trains with all the older motors, steel wheels and heavy construction are just louder. And they will still be running after ww3😂🤣
😍😍😍😍😍
Definitely! Hopefully we won’t have to find out about the ww3 thing though
@@dagryffynhobby yeah, I know😐
Just love your layout. Love all the baby Ruth cars. No wonder I can't find any.😢
LOL, that's what I was thinking. Griff has them all.
Well I have all that I’ve found for $10 or less!
Very nice run session. Thanks for showing.
Thanks for watching!
Great to see so many trains in action, Dave! All the levels with action happening. Keep it up as you expand your horizons into construction!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Well I’m glad I could be of service! A cold basement is no fun to hang out in
Excellent excellent video Dave….
Thanks so much!
Top video DG very enjoyable
Glad you enjoyed
That rumbling sound of pre/postwar trains running on the rails is music to my ears 😊😊 The layout is lookin' great Dave 👍👍
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the video.
The layout looks great with all the loops running. Thanks for the after lunch treat.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video
Looks like fun 👍🏻
Yes indeed!
Love the Baby Ruth express!
It’s delicious!
Awesome video. You have a great collection of prewar & postwar locomotives & rolling stock. Looks great.
Thanks so much!

The platform is really coming together Dave!
Thanks!
Great running session Dave! I think my favorite was the unit train of Baby Ruth cars.
Thanks! I tried to get another baby Ruth or two in there but was having coupler issues.

Thanks! I have to agree, after running more modern trains for a while, i didn’t realize how much I missed the sounds of these classics.

@@dagryffynhobby ok, I’ll give you the summer then I give you another reminder lol! Enjoy York!
🤠🚂🖐
👍
Awesome run video! What pre-war were you running?
Thanks! The 226e and my 1662 with prewar set of cars. That might be it
@@dagryffynhobby Gotcha, thanks! They all look awesome.
Dave, does your layout have, or will it have, any turnouts?
Nope. Well that’s not entirely true, I now have one switch on my mini-yard but it’s not connected to the loops.
