If you're comfortable with it, try changing your hair part. When I was at the worst of my hair loss, my whole head was thinning but I noticed it was thinning the most noticeably at my middle part so I switched it for a few months and it really helped the growth in that area.
I’ve known a lot people who’ve experienced COVID are experiencing hair loss as a late side effect. Typically start to see it after 3-4 after having COVID, my grandma, my dad and I all had COVID and are experiencing hair loss too. Taking care of yourself is the best thing you can do, I’m glad you took the time you need for yourself! Keep your head up and you are still beautiful inside and out!
Currently losing my hair as well after 3 months recovering from covid. My lil sis and I are losing hair at the same time. She's lucky she's born with thick hair. Hopefully will get over this hair loss, just gotta avoid stress.
Dear Beautiful Zoe, I genuinely think you have a vitamin B12 and possibly iron and vitamin D deficiency. It could explain all your symptoms and whilst I don’t encourage anyone to take excessive supplements without seeing a Doctor, but needs must - you could take a good quality B group supplement, plus 400iu of D safely. I’d also suggest some liquid iron half an hour before eating your main meal. Everything from my sense of taste, to hair and numbness has improved since I started taking good quality vitamins. As you probably know lack of these vitamins also has a profound impact on our psychology, especially to women of childbearing or menopause age. Also I so get you about being overwhelmed by social media etc. Do this on your terms, we will be happy as long as you are. Sending love and please take care, you’re a very precious and unique person and I pray for you and your loved ones health and happiness.💞
My best friend lost her taste and smell a year ago and it’s still only back at 20 percent from Covid. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Also in regards to health care you should still be able to see the doctor. My aunt came here without citizenship and uncle and they both were able to see doctors. When you do see a doctor I would advise checking to see if you have PCOS through blood tests checking your hormones and an ultrasound. As well as checking your adrenal glands for Cushing’s syndrome. You are so strong and beautiful. I’m sorry you are going through this and i know it must be hard to feel helpless but please try to advocate for your health insurance if you can! It’s a must!
Zoe,I’m glad to see you are back. Me and my family had COVID back in December. Everything’s you are describing here my daughter have the same problems.
Hey girl, I have also had some hair thinning since my early 20’s- I got on the medication Spironolactone last year and in 6 months I had baby hairs popping up everywhere and filling in the sparse areas. You have to ask your doctor about it, but it definitely helped me!
I’m so sorry you went through that. I had COVID in March of 2020. It worsened my hair loss and I was having the same issues with things smelling awful. It gets better! It took almost 6 months, but I rarely notice it anymore.

Many people started having thyroid issues after COVID and thyroid problems or other hormones can cause the type of hair loss that you currently have. I recommend you to go to the doctor and suggest explore those options. I had the same problem and it was my thyroid, now my hair is growing back!

I'm happy to hear you and your husband survived covid. For your hair. If you're willing to try it. I’m glad your feeling better and don’t be so hard on yourself, you looked good on that video. I was taking prenatal vitamins and using a natural shampoo and my hair stopped falling out. I'm losing my hair too. From what I read online it is permanent, but I'm drinking collagen for it now and hoping it helps.
I am so happy to see you back. I missed you and was hoping you were ok. I am so sorry you went through and are going through so much. In the past few years between food allergies and new dietary restrictions my diet has become very limited. Things I loved to eat or drink I am not allowed to have anymore. It can become very depressing at times. I also have panic and anxiety problems which also effects my hair along with the limited diet. That’s also depressing because my long hair is my identity. You always make me feel better when I watch you. I think you are so sweet and so beautiful. I hope you start feeling much better very soon! ❤️

I guess the same. 2 or 3 months after Covid so many people went through a state called Telogen effluvium. You can Google it and read the signs. Good news is that all the hairs will come back after 6 to 8 months. But try to eat as healthy as you can specially some vitamins like Zinc, Magnesium, iron, ferritin, vitamin D, and specially Biotin. Also check your hormones ASAP. Thyroid, Androgen, Testastron, Progesterone, Estrogen and Prolactin. If you're gaining weight for no reason with hair shedding, having acne or painful or not having periods, it may be because of your ovaries or hormones not doing well which is called PCOS.

I almost died from Double Pneumonia numerous times, along with my Gull Bladder being swelled, having 4 Stones & trying to attach to other Organs, me being Sepsis the whole time, loosing my hair and a few teeth, scar’s everywhere from Surgeries...2 Stomach, my Kidney’s failing, getting flew to different Hospital’s, I know how You feel! I’m down and out on myself so bad, I can honestly say that I do Not Love Myself!
I didn’t notice any change you are still beautiful as before.. I’m sorry for what you are going through. I hope everything gets better.sending good vibes
Hi Zoe. Your kindness, manners, respectfulness, consideration, compassion and overall great personality are commendable, especially for someone so young. I'm fairly new to your channel and don't usually comment. I'm sorry for all you've been through and are going through. You handle it all with grace and carry yourself extremely well. I know you're having trouble with the smell of meat. I'm a vegetarian and I wonder if the 'fake meats' wouldn't bother you as much? I eat a lot of 'fake meats' like bacon, chicken nuggets, burgers etc. You could use the nutritional benefits of the fake meats. Also a nutritional drink like Boost or Ensure would be beneficial for your nutrients and I buy the generic brands that are considerably less expensive and affordable. Morning Star Farms, Gardein, Beyond Meat and Incogmeato by Morning Star farms make the best fake meats & burgers. I'm sure all the stress has been hard on your hair as well as all you mentioned so relieving yourself of a lot of that stress should make a big difference as well. I'm happy you're in a better place mentally and your physical health should improve along with that too. Glad to see you back and I'll be here watching you grow your channel. Wishing all the best to you!💝
I had covid last November and my hair fell out like crazy in January made me horribly depressed, I then got the vaccine in March and it was like having covid all over again and my hair is sort of falling out now quite a bit again. Really hoping it's just stress related since they say usually 3 months post a stressful event you may have hair loss, it's truly just devastating to be balding 😭
Cutting the hair doesn’t do nothing to fix the problem. Parting hair from other site besides the middle would be difficult if the thinning it’s all over 😔 I really hope some scientists come up with a real cure to this tragic issue which seems harmless but it’s traumatic for many young girls and boys who experience this problem especially during their high school years
Hey Girl, not a doctor hear and I’m sorry if you’ve tried this already. Mineral deficiency is a huge contributor to most health issues. 😔 when you have COVID your body loses Zinc, Zinc is so important for your body and lack of can contribute to hair loss aswell as other health issues. Again although I’m not a doctor the comment from below I definitely agree with. Vitamin and mineral deficiency will throw your body out of balance in so many ways. You are so incredibly beautiful inside and out! Keep going girl. 💕
After a month having COVID my hair started falling. Still falling out for over a month. The good thing is I see the new hair coming in. But I wish everyone here good luck bcuz I feels really bad to see hair fall out. Also just had a surgery and hair also falls out after a surgery yeah I’ll be bald soon lol. Good luck everyone!
Awww girl I know its not solace but many of us have been thru so much last yr and this yr too for different reasons but it for sure has been rough. Were all stronger than we think and as long as were alive we cant give up. God bless you💖
Hair loss is super common after COVID and after losing weight. I'm going through excessive hair shedding too due to hormonal changes and recent extreme stress. I know you can't see a doctor due to health insurance reasons, and maybe what I'm about to say you already know - but if not, I hope it helps! Your excessive shedding (most likely telogen effluvium) will go away with time and proper nutrition, but if you already have some genetic hair thinning (androgenic alopecia), you might need to use rogaine and an anti-androgen (medications like finasteride, dutasteride, spironolactone, or natural anti-androgens like saw palmetto and spearmint tea) to grow some of it back.
Zoe everyone loves you. Get back to work and use this as therapy. Tell us about your beauty routine or shopping trips. Covid years have been rough & we all gained weight. I’m on a veggie salad, brown rice with tuna for lunch and smoothie for breakfast. It’s all thought, but your such a joy to watch. Get up and get going. I’m cheering for you.🥳
I really appreciate you & your videos! Glad you're feeling better & definitely never be ashamed to have your moments. Our mental health comes before everything. You're beautiful 20 pounds heavier, lighter, hair or no hair. Thanks for you videos! 🥰
I had the same problem- it took 5 months to go away. For me it was coffee, nuts, meat and teriyaki- it was causing me to be depressed and reluctant to eat. I hope it goes away. There’s still traces of the smell though.
Thank you for sharing. I'm glad you are feeling better, and I truly believe you'll continue to feel even better than now. You need to come first also, so I'm glad you took a break.
I have very thin hair from no thyroid and since having covid my hair comes out in gobs it’s so bad I thought it was due to me having to change my diet because I also now have diabetes from having covid. Never knew hair loss was a side effect of covid. I’m depressed and trying so hard to be better. I wear wigs and hair pieces and also try covering my bald scalp.
Add coffee and water in a squirt bottle divide your hair in to multiple plats not too tight spray coffee on your sculp make sure it's real coffee losen plats add little coconut oil on hair brush it threw just little oil do every day and add coffee to your shampoo when washing hair measure hair before and one month after
I've been wondering and hoping you've been okay as its been a long time. Just glad to see you're okay, I know its easier said than done but don't feel any pressure from us or anyone for anything at all just be who YOU want to be xx
This happened to me. Otherwise I’m young and very healthy. My Dr told me it’s been common amongst those who were sick with it. It’s been over a year and I’m finally seeing slow improvement.
I HAVE THE SMELL THING TOO! I read that after you lose smell for a time and then start to heal, some wires can get crossed and send the wrong signals to your brain. I guess you can “train” your sense of smell with essential oils and other strong smells. Idk 🤷🏽♀️ It’s gotten better over time and sometimes smells change for me.
I really would recommend drinking tumeric and barley grass powder. Try this please and you will notice an improvement in your wellbeing and especially your hair, skin and immune system. Just give it a try :)
I am a nurse and I can't tell you how many people I see that had Covid have lost their hair! Directly related and yes, SCARY!! Hang in there...you are STILL beautiful!
You're wonderful. Wish we could be irl friends because you seem so easy to talk to. I hope your appetite comes back and things start tasting good again. I had also heard that a side effect of having Covid is hairloss.
Hi Zoe, it’s me again, I love how you stay strong even though your going through alot. God bless you! Girl you really look like you need a hug. But here’s a virtual hug for you! ❤️🤗
I’ve lost about 50% of my hair.. had vivid for about 1 month also.. 3 months ago.. I’m using novier revitalizing hair tonic…which was recommended to me for regrowing hair.. only been a week now.. I’ll let you know if it works.. good luck
I used it but it is tooo expensive. 60 bucks for 60 pills and you have to take two daily :( there are a lot of similar pills that do the same thing. The most important thing is to eat healthy as much as possible.
i wonder what your DHT levels are ? DHT is what causes hair to thin/fall out, as a woman you could easily balance it out if you have to much of it by taking something like finastride
Is there a medical spa in your area that does PRP? It’s not covered by insurance anyway but I’ve finally saved up enough to start for my hairloss. I feel ya girl 💕
I did the Bondi Boost but unfortunately it didn’t work for me and the ingredients are terrible. However I changed my shampoo and conditioner to the brand “Botanical Green Care” I also added “Dermaroller” “Rosemary oil and Rosemary water” I’m hoping it will work for me good luck with your journey I love your videos and thank you for always sharing 💕💕💕
@@yellow_blooms1993 ask your doctor for blood tests and you will probably have the male hormones higher than normal (all women who have thinning hair have those hormones too high). If they're out of range you will need to get on the contracceptive pill if you're under 35 years old. If you're over 35 years old you need to balance them through diet and exercise. Also: if your male hormones are too high, and you're having other symptoms like excess body hair, irregular menstrual cycles, you might have a condition called pcos which is a chronic hormonal disorder that about 1 in 10 women have. Good luck with everything
@@yellow_blooms1993 remember that you can have pcos even without having policystic ovaries. All you need is an androgen excess. I had regular periods and no cysts but I still had pcos
good to see you again ❤️ i must be psychic because yesterday i was thinking about how long it's been since you posted and wash wondering how you were, and actually wondered if you or someone in your family was ill with covid. as for the increased hair loss, some people (actress alyssa milano comes to mind) reported quite a bit of hairloss when she had covid. she had the 'long-hauler' syndrome with many lasting symptoms. regarding not having health insurance, aren't you eligible for obamacare?
I lost you for awhile :,( I finally found you! We have the same hair and loss in the same area. Can I ask what’s your routine about it? I am using dry shampoo but it’s itchy to me and makes my hair and scalp feel dirty :,(

@@sepidehamini9835 yeah I ve read about it, I forgot what its called
Girl,
I got sick in 2016 and lost 100lbs in almost 4 months!
You are not alone 🙌🏼 I have felt the same way about my hair thinning issues. You got this! We love your transparency 🥰
I didn’t notice any weight gain and glad your comfortable now.
She said she just lost 20 pounds. That’s why now she is in front to the cámara cuz she feels again herself.
Your own well-being is always the most important thing. 🖤
Hi Zoe,
Your a beautiful honest person, I love your videos. Come back slowly and take your time doing your videos. Thank you for all your honesty.
Wishing all the best to you!💝
I missed you zoe ❤ you amaze me in every way, you go girl!! You are gorgeous, keep on posting and updating your well being!
Omggg...after so longggg!!! So happy to finally see you...hope u r well...God bless u sweetheart 💗
You’re so sweet🥺💖 thank you!!
Oh sweet girl! I was wondering where you were!!!!! So glad to see you back. 😊😊😊😊😊
Strong gal, you give me strength and confidence. Keep shining
Have you ever considered cut your hair shorter and wear it different style (part your hair on the site etc)?
Cutting the hair doesn’t do nothing to fix the problem. Parting hair from other site besides the middle would be difficult if the thinning it’s all over 😔 I really hope some scientists come up with a real cure to this tragic issue which seems harmless but it’s traumatic for many young girls and boys who experience this problem especially during their high school years
So glad for an update! Missed you and your videos! Glad you are doing better!
Aw that means a lot, thank you🥺💖
Welcome back! I am glad you took the break you needed!
I want u to know you are an inspiration to alot of us. You should be proud of yourself. You are amazing n we love you. Keep going n never look back.
I am glad your back, and it's ok to not be 100% all the time. Love how open and honest you are.
2 months after covid I started loosing my hair in clumps. Check if you might defiencient in vitamin D
You look fabulous. Eat healthy and stay positive. We all are with you. You rock girl! Much love from India.
Awww girl I know its not solace but many of us have been thru so much last yr and this yr too for different reasons but it for sure has been rough. Were all stronger than we think and as long as were alive we cant give up. God bless you💖
Thank you for posting !! Im proud of you too!! Thank you for being you and real👌👏💗
I'm sorry God can heal. Just pray Hod hears you he will deliver. Reach out to him ❤
Hair loss is super common after COVID and after losing weight.
Hi Zoe glad to see u on hear..keep ur faith and head up..🙌☝❤
Aw thank you so much! I’ll try😅💕
Hi 👋🏼 glad you’re back! Hope you’re feeling better every day’💕
Stay strong girl and it’s okay if you take a break to work on you. We live in one body so we need to take care of it.
I had the same problem- it took 5 months to go away. For me it was coffee, nuts, meat and teriyaki- it was causing me to be depressed and reluctant to eat. I hope it goes away. There’s still traces of the smell though.
Thanks for this lovely lady
Thanks for this. I had Covid and am now experiencing major hair loss and it is really getting me down.
Starting my sem break with you, yayyy so happy to be back here❤️❤️
Did you get highlights done? love this slightly lighter look on you if you did. You're so gorgeous and I'm glad you're back!
I am glad to see you back, take care of yourself and hope to see again very soon
Add coffee and water in a squirt bottle divide your hair in to multiple plats not too tight spray coffee on your sculp make sure it's real coffee losen plats add little coconut oil on hair brush it threw just little oil do every day and add coffee to your shampoo when washing hair measure hair before and one month after
So happy to see you come back, Zoe! Miss you!!
I've been wondering and hoping you've been okay as its been a long time. Just glad to see you're okay, I know its easier said than done but don't feel any pressure from us or anyone for anything at all just be who YOU want to be xx
I've seen tons of videos with people that had covid that had experienced extreme hair loss.
This happened to me. Otherwise I’m young and very healthy. My Dr told me it’s been common amongst those who were sick with it. It’s been over a year and I’m finally seeing slow improvement.
@@siobhannaylor5616 same dude same
She's had hair loss for years before covid.
@@AleksaDiaz I know that hun just pointing out that people without previous hair loss have experienced severe hair loss after having covid.
So glad to see you back. Stay well and save.🙏
I HAVE THE SMELL THING TOO! I read that after you lose smell for a time and then start to heal, some wires can get crossed and send the wrong signals to your brain. I guess you can “train” your sense of smell with essential oils and other strong smells. Idk 🤷🏽♀️ It’s gotten better over time and sometimes smells change for me.
wow I find this so fascinating and scary. It's been 2 months since you wrote this, I hope you're doing even better now!
@@KatreaDawes 🥲🥲🥲 I still have weird tastes and smells…. I hope that it goes away but it’s so stinking frustrating!
Cozumu varmi peki
You're wonderful. Wish we could be irl friends because you seem so easy to talk to. I hope your appetite comes back and things start tasting good again. I had also heard that a side effect of having Covid is hairloss.
Definitely brake time if u need it it's good that u put Ur self first hopefully things will be better for u x
Hi Zoe, it’s me again, I love how you stay strong even though your going through alot. God bless you! Girl you really look like you need a hug. But here’s a virtual hug for you! ❤️🤗
We’re all happy to see you again! 💖👍🏽
I was just rewatching many of your videos yesterday!!! Missed you 🙂
I’ve lost about 50% of my hair.. had vivid for about 1 month also.. 3 months ago.. I’m using novier revitalizing hair tonic…which was recommended to me for regrowing hair.. only been a week now.. I’ll let you know if it works.. good luck
So glad to see you back!!
So glad to be back!🥰
Girl I have the same problem with my hair! Try viviscal! I’ve been seeing little hairs growing out!
Women can't take that, they can only take minoxidil
Francesca yes they can unless they’re pregnant
Sending you love and healing. I love your hair videos.
Your accent sounds sooo innocent lol I love it ☺️💌
Is there a medical spa in your area that does PRP? It’s not covered by insurance anyway but I’ve finally saved up enough to start for my hairloss. I feel ya girl 💕
So good to see again you always look lovely. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos. Lot's of love from the UK 🇬🇧💓
I was losing quite a lot of hair after I had Covid. It lasted months.
I did the Bondi Boost but unfortunately it didn’t work for me and the ingredients are terrible. However I changed my shampoo and conditioner to the brand
“Botanical Green Care” I also added
“Dermaroller”
“Rosemary oil and Rosemary water”
I’m hoping it will work for me good luck with your journey
I love your videos and thank you for always sharing 💕💕💕
Remember that you have to balance you hormones for your hair to grow. Androgens will make it fall
@@fran791 how do I balance them? Thank you for the comment
@@fran791 thanks I have androgenic alopecia and thank goodness I don’t have pcos 🤞🏻
@@yellow_blooms1993 remember that you can have pcos even without having policystic ovaries.
All you need is an androgen excess.
I had regular periods and no cysts but I still had pcos
Glad to see you back! 🥰
I ve had the same issue with after Covid, like soda, listerine, like pinesol and stuff like that. I wonder you if you got your taste back
RESOLUTION: Get an orange heat I up bu roasting if over the fire. Eat it warm. Your taste will come back
Ok but sisssss??? We need a makeup tutorial on this look🥰🥰🥰🥰
Afterrrr soooooo longggggg!!!🥺🥺......I checked your channel in between and was wondering why you weren't posting....glad you finally did bae😭❤️
good to see you again ❤️ i must be psychic because yesterday i was thinking about how long it's been since you posted and wash wondering how you were, and actually wondered if you or someone in your family was ill with covid.
as for the increased hair loss, some people (actress alyssa milano comes to mind) reported quite a bit of hairloss when she had covid. she had the 'long-hauler' syndrome with many lasting symptoms.
regarding not having health insurance, aren't you eligible for obamacare?
Happy you are feeling better you are a beautiful lady love your hair good luck in everything and keep up the great work.👍😍
Diane birth control pills can help with hormonal/genetic hair loss. Also spironolactone and other hormonal balancing pills...
omg i cant even watch this i have hair loss, large pores, bad skin, im overweight. And u think u have it bad?? you are beautiful!!
Your hair thinning pattern is very similar to mine.. I had a biopsy and they diagnosed me with androgenic alopecia. Look into it!
They think mine stemmed from PCOS!
I lost you for awhile :,( I finally found you! We have the same hair and loss in the same area. Can I ask what’s your routine about it? I am using dry shampoo but it’s itchy to me and makes my hair and scalp feel dirty :,(
I be using rosemary water for the horrible itcHing
Telogen effluvium, is the name of the hair loss after an stressful situation or if you had gotten really sick or loss to much weight quickly
@Benny Goodman no worries it will grow back but normally it takes around 12-24 months after u stop shedding hair 😊 rosemary oil helps wonders 😊
I found my taste never properly returned after chemo. Curry never tastes right anymore. And coffee indeed tastes like arse! I think it’s partly a trauma response.
