My Great Niece is 1.5 years old and loves riding her ride on Fireblade, and she looks over her shoulder to see if any cars are coming. Biking is how it makes you feel. You can access more areas of your brain after riding a motorcycle. You generally feel better. If you have no money it's coz you don't have a separate plan to make money to fund your future.
Biggest problem is the way the media portrays people on motorcycles. For guys it's always rugged and cool. For girls it's hot and sexy. When it's none of that. My bike has been my daily for 5 years now. Maybe at the start you'll look cool. In your nice clean gear, but the more you ride the more functionality takes precedence over form. When it's 100+ outside and your bike is 220 degrees at a stop light. You won't care "how cool or sexy you look." imo it's cooler that you actually ride and don't just bust out the bike for Tiktok or Instagram shoot.
Hahaha, I had to sub to this, .... Does the sound of Insulated ankle- high boots, heavy socks, Long-johns, Heavy jeans and leather chaps; T-shirt, Work shirt, A long sleeved fleece, Leather Jacket with a " Wet-Skins,(tm) " rain slicker, over top, a neck gator and 3/4 helmet with full-face visor, and heated gloves ... sound familiar ???? ....yup, ..... That's me, on my 2019 Bolt, doing the journey to work 30 miles away via the hwy at 110 kph at 7 AM. when the temp is about 10 C outside and it's raining..... Me : all blacked- out, except for the pin stripes in a few spots on the wet skins jacket on a blacked out bike, doing 110 on a wet highway, lol. A feeling that only a biker will know. The bonus of this is , at the end of the ride, the rain-gear comes off, and is stowed in the side bags if the weather behaves and the sun comes out and its warm enough to ride home looking like a regular.... Oh, and btw, ...... My helmet does have the pop down dark visor, ( It makes me look like a fighter- pilot actually....), and is a bonus to have when you are riding fast in the direction of the sun in the afternoon. Stay Safe
That's one hell of an outfit. I need to get myself some bike storage like you. I end up carrying my gear everywhere I go 🤦🏻♀️this includes home depot aisles
Whaat, i have the internal sunglasses two 😅. Not cool, but practical. Riding in the winter is badass for sure, or crazy...and very cool.. or atleast cold 🥶
6:49 "You got designer shades, just to hide your face. You wear them around like you're cooler than me. And you never say hey, or remember my name, And it's probably 'cause you think you're cooler than me."
Face from Track day. Is because you are examining information in your head. Some people just looking from the outside and trusting what they have been told, and are Riders , not Racers. You are on your own journey of learning and you want to find out for yourself your limits. I'm impressed by what you've said in this vid and you seem normal to me. I don't think of any other bikers as "Bad Ass" though, except for Biaggi,Rossi,Marc Marquez,Razgatlioglu and wee Bautista.😂😂
I'm listening to this and everything this girl is saying makes her cooler than the girls she's describing. The fact that the bike is her only mode of transport and riding it in all weather makes her more of a real rider than anybody who just does it for show. If what you're doing is for show, or you're only proud of something expensive, you're just a poser. What this girl is doing is having a real preference for the motorcycle and mistaking that as lame while thinking "what you look like" is the important part. No; being genuine, that's cool. Don't be a poser. You're a real one.
True. Can confirm! Girls in a bike are way cool, potato looks are nothing compared to showing willingness to: try new things, go on adventures, hang out the guys without calling us abusers or creeps... Who cares whatever reason got you in a bike , you are now a rider and one of us long after you stop being on a bike! Commuting in foggy heavy rain days, or during first rains of a season with oily slippery roads, or with ice on the road coming from nowhere all of a sudden while riding in freezing winter temperatures, is as cool and death defying as any stunt rider just showing off. All The Gear All The Time is SUPER good mind-set and shows responsibility and accountability, helmets with tinted visors are for people that like to look cool more than actually being smart. I prefer to have a helmet with double visor to use when I want it - retract it when entering tunnels and underground parking lots, keep putting it on and off wherever the sun gets in my eyes or not in a normal ride. Some of those "cool" dudes that givers you that "fraud syndrome" and which perceive themselves as much "cooler" riders are the ones that are not that cool as they frequently doing some vlogging or random idiotic crap to even do the most basic rider thing, to greet other riders - specially if they are thinking they are too good to greet riders in lesser powered bikes. To all guys out there, if you are on 2 wheels you getting a hand sign or a nod from me even if you are in a mopped delivering food. I'm pretty sure I will be called a Simp for my comment but your authentic self got you a new subscriber (and hopefully many more join up and help you get some $$$ ).

I'd so love to get a motorcycle for committing to uni! The problem, ignoring my parent's hesitation to the idea, is the cost of insurance (not even of the bike)! No Canadian ever makes a video on insurance costs for younger riders (under 25) and I really need info before I buy a bike haha. Canadian motorcycle insurance is EXPENSIVE, especially in Ontario. I'd only ride it 6 months a year (thank you, winter in Canada) but I still have no idea the price range for this stuff...
Oof. I can definitely empathise with you being in a province with high insurance costs as well. I can't speak for Ontario but to give you an idea for what I pay in BC, I've almost always done year-round insurance and it works out to be just shy of $40 a month for basic with 1mil limit third party liability. I've also done third party insurance for the theft coverage and that worked out to be about $16 a month. Might be worth seeing if Ontario might have an online insurance calculator or posting in local riding groups or reddit. People should be happy to help give you intel! 😊 Good luck on the start of your riding journey 🏍️ excited for you. Stay safe
I started with a used Kawasaki ninja 250. Great starter bike. Would also recommend an R3. They're both super affordable options with strong resale value and you can always upgrade when you get comfy.
You had me at Potato, but I’m more than twice your age and I still ride, rain or shine and howling winds. For 35 years. I wear a tangerine high vis mesh jacket to work in the summer, and my ripped up(I got hit by a pickup truck while commuting) black mesh with a high vis vest and micro fleece liner in the winter with ugly tactical cargo pants every work day. Banged up Nike Special Field Boots. Compression socks. It takes me 15 minutes to gear up. 7 to strip down. I leave helmet donuts at work and frequent destinations. I have a BackOff module installed and a BrakeFree light on my helmet. Am I Uncool yet?

Ahh! Welcome! 😍 We love our fellow Frumpy taters here! 🤗
Frumpy? Sure, fine you can have that. As I feel like a frumpy rider too.
Uncool? Nah. You honestly look cool as hell.
As long as I get to keep the Frumpy label 🥔😊
My Great Niece is 1.5 years old and loves riding her ride on Fireblade, and she looks over her shoulder to see if any cars are coming. Biking is how it makes you feel. You can access more areas of your brain after riding a motorcycle. You generally feel better. If you have no money it's coz you don't have a separate plan to make money to fund your future.
Your great niece must be the Coolest kid on the block.
That is very honest of you. Be who you are. That is cool in its self.
Wise words 🤗
Real life rider. The cool of real life. XD This matters not that IG show off only for the cameras, subs an likes. Go on!
I'm the frumpy rider too. Stay independent. It's just a vehicle to get from Point A to Point B and back again. A mule. Nothing more.
Always stoked to meet a fellow frump 🫡👋🙇
but the helmets with the in-built sunnies are so useful!! (yes i am potato as well :))
Yes! I couldn't have it any other way.
And hi fellow potato 🥔 🤗
You're so honest and beautiful just the way you are ride safe.
Thank you so much 🥹
😂😂 loved this
🥔🤗
🔥🔥🔥
🚒🧑🚒🧯
Heyy it's Lily! Say what you want, but you're still the most badass girl I know haha. Literal girl crush material 🔥🔥
Stooop Lily. The crush is mutual. 😍
Best ad for potatoes ever.
😂😂😂😂😂
We're versatile too!
"boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew!"
I've been riding for almost 60 years, just bought a new road race bike at 73yo! I don't know much....but you ARE cool!😊
Coming from an OG - that means a lot!
Crazy and cold.
Also yes to team internal sun visors! I will die on this hill.
Riding at all makes you cool, period. Way to make some cool content for when we can’t be riding.
Thanks for this. Hoping weather let's up wherever you are so you can get back on the road soon. 😊
6:49 "You got designer shades, just to hide your face.
You wear them around like you're cooler than me.
And you never say hey, or remember my name,
And it's probably 'cause you think you're cooler than me."
"Cause it's your scene
You got no doubt
But-we all see
You got your head in the clouds"
😉
Very nice vid... Well said!
Thank you ✌️
Face from Track day.
Van city!!! keep up the good work. you are a real women, not all fake and plastic.
Fellow van city-er yourself? 😊
damn you’re so cool ❤ (from a fellow potato :*)
Always happy to see another sweet 🥔 here!
Don't sell yourself short. Not cool better, I'd say extraordinary.
Shucks Garry 🫠
Lol another hot biker chicken rideing year around AWSOME . COOL video and enjoyable.
🥵🏍🐔
It's decided. HOT biker CHICKEN is what I will henceforth be known as.
This is hilarious. Keep it up
🤗 Will keep it ⬆️ while keeping 2 wheels ⬇️.
Nice, subbed
Ah! Welcome to the potato corner! 🤗
Thank you so much Pedro ✌️🤟
Well I’ve subscribed to the frumpy potato channel because I happen to like how versatile potatoes are and how cute they can be and funny, don’t get me started, I was cracking up with some of your highly relatable comments.
Stay being you, you’re cool and don’t need to change.
I’d ride with you. Come to the land down under and we can be frumpy friends on two wheels.
Stay rubber side down 🏍️🫡
Ahh!! I have been meaning to visit my spirit animals down there!
😍 Quokkas! 😍
@@WhaChuUpTo well that’s perfect, Quokka’s are after all just happy looking little spuds 🥔
You're just perfect🙂❤️
You're missing the I M in imperfect. 😉🤗
Good video.
The goodest comment.
As a new Canadian bike rider myself you are cool like doodle on a motorcycle
I heard of her from a recent subbie! She's great! And welcome to the Canadian biker community 🤗
Good luck on the start of your riding journey 🏍️ excited for you. Stay safe
..and everyone you tell that motorcycle owning is dirt cheap is suprised.
Potato is my favourite vegetable - just sayin'...
Mine too. I dare anyone to find a vegetable more versatile 🥔
Internal visors are awesome and super practical, don't listen to them haters xd. Even as a guy, I relate to a lot of the things you said.
I am team internal visors all the way. Happy to hear we share common ground
what is the best beginner bike? i am trying to buy a motorcycle cause it’s the only i can afford in this economy.
Stop. YOU GOT HIT BY A PICKUP Truck and you're still rockin? Girlll. 🙌
600th subscriber here
😱😱 Wow wow wow! Thank you!!! 😱😱 I'm speechless. 😵600 people here! 🤗
That's so cool, girl! I did something the same, got my license, but bought the motorcycle without letting my parents know 😂. Btw, put the towel in the back place to be safer. U're hot too, chill out 😂
Classic. 🤣 Did they ever end up finding out?
@@WhaChuUpTo yep :)))
I subscribed to your channel.
I'd be honored to ride with you, anytime!
And, for the record, you are the coolest potato I know!

Happy to have you here Eric! This potato is honored!
Down to earth and humble 😎

Cool girl motorcyclist confirmed. In a good way.
This made me smile. In a good way. 🥹
Mmm...potato. just add butter😉
