Ducklife 'Summing up all the Ducks Rehab status, in the morning rehab tub' Midwinters Yule 2024 Aus

Summing up yesterdays morning rehab bath in todays morning rehab bath... On the status of rehabilitation of my domestic duck sp. Please be patient re diary uploads :) Doing my best to juggle including garn related content because of the Rehab status of birds atm. The one with the biggest concern is the recent Silverappleyard 'Catherine' hips and legs. Bones generally take up to 3 weeks to heal and we are nearly 2 months in with Catherine still with a severe limp and in pain... She is on antinflamms and we are managing her but due to time and severity there seems to be multiple issues/background which we can only guess at. To take imaging she will need to be gassed to sleep which carries a death risk... From there if surgery is required the previous repeated plus more trauma... I think shes had enough trauma and am taking the conservative approach.
