I've seen kids cry and complain with this but this kid seems oblvious to the fact he's got a very serious painful illness. He's still so happy with his family, especially his brother

Happy Mother's Day to their mom. I so hope he can get skin grafts when he can age wise. Two more work but my grandson is special and he only has Nana to play with. Omg.. When the older brother kid-whispered "I'll take this one", I thought he was going to say something really profound about what they were going to do when they grew up.. When he let us in on the train conductor/train engineer dream complete with sound effects, I lost it!! Too funny, and I love the pure innocence of kids of a certain age

Hope these boys live long happy lives. My grandson born with EB told not to live long now 19 years old. So happy still have him. Good luck I pray there's a cure sometime for this nothing tried has worked.

I honestly can't imagine seeing your child hurting all the time, and also the really challenging and rare situation of constantly managing symptoms. Trying to explain to a young child why you shouldn't itch your skin and why you are in pain all the time sounds like the job of a super-human...😢 Prayers and love to this family and this amazing boy!!

I don't think he even realizes his limitations. You can see him tense up and drool and struggle but, he doesn't show any pain or emotion towards that. He's such a brave and strong little man! I hope they find the cure soon. No child deserves to live like John Hudson is now at 20/21. I hope he's able to he treated/cured before he gets much older. Such troopers these babies are. ❤

Imagine having to monitor a child to not scratch themselves… at all. Or to fall down, even in a gentle, playful way. You’d basically have to unwire everything that children do. I grew up like most people which is to say I do not have EB. I don’t think there was a single day as a kid that I didn’t run, bump into something, or experience some kind of minor tissue damage. With this disease… you’d have to be on constant alert. I feel so much for this parents.
this reminds me, me and my siblings when we were younger ,i was too always winning because i was the bigger one and i bet they wanted to be like me xD. Best gift you can give your kid is a sibling a person can't find a better thing in life
