Patrick Williams getting more & more interest from other NBA teams doesn't surprise me whatsoever. If anything, this proves that Patrick Williams isn't the huge problem on the Bulls as some fans like to make him out to be.

I'm gonna be so upset if they don't get Pwill back. I'd rather watch Coby, Ayo, Pwill, Julian, and Dalen develop together, then hope for the best when it comes to drafting a potential superstar. The Western and Eastern conference finals showed us that the league is shifting towards the youth, and right now we're behind since we want to keep these aging "stars" around. It'll hurt to lose Zach and DeMar, but they're not sniffing success here. I'm happy with Caruso staying, he's a culture builder, and honestly I'm not bothered by the injury concerns, it's not him who I need to see develop anyway. I'd rather we get Terrance Shannon Jr., but we have to do something to get some bigs. So hopefully by trading Zach, or maybe even sign and trading DeMar, we can trade up for another pick to get a big. Idk, bottomline is I just want us to prioritize the youth. It'll at least make the games more exciting and interesting, even if our record will be bad until we find a superstar
I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if Patrick Williams bets on himself & winds up signing a shorter deal with the Bulls so he can enter Unrestricted Free Agency sooner rather than later.

Haize - I'd like to hear your perspective on this: I think a lot of Bulls fans have it all wrong with Pat. I get it that he's not a #4 (draft selection) talent at this point but man, in Zach's absense, Pat was putting up like 15-16ppg and playing solid defense during our win streak as soon as Zach went down. I'm struggling to understand why everyone is ready to give up on Pat when he's been a starter since he came into the league, a solid defender who has had to play a supressed role as the 5th option on offense...🤷🏼♂️ I understand he doesn't rebound well but he does just about everything else well and we haven't even see him in a situation where he gets to be a 2nd or 3rd scoring option on this team. We've seen it time and time again, players move on from players who ball-out after leaving. Why doesn't Pat get the same consideration at only 22 years old?? Its like everyone is falling into the same mindset that the front office has, giving up on our high potential prospects in favor of "Continuity" among the perceived corr players. There have been other teams that have made the same mistake. The clippers when they gave up on SGA in favor of getting Paul George comes to mind. Conversely, the Philadelphia 76ersdid the complete opposite, recognizing that they had an extremely talented player in Maxey already on their roster Hell Coby broke out as soon as Zach was out of the way. I think moving on from Pat at this point would be yet another mistake by this front office.

But I want to say that Pat could still be a good piece to a contending team.
People need to forget that he was the #4 pick and the bulls just need to keep building the team.
For many years Kat looked like a waste of a #1 pick for the Timberwolves and now after building that team up they’re very close to being a contender. They just need that secondary scorer behind Ant.
He was not even #24.
Portland should pick swap with us and they can have their annoying protected pick back plus one lightly used gnome.
I really hope so. Please bulls do it. Get in talks with the rockets, do a sign n trade of caruso, demar to the rockets for tari eason or cam Whitmore, the 3rd pick and Adam's.

Patrick Williams is a player who could actually be very successful in the NBA if he was better utilized to his greatest strengths. Unfortunately, Billy Donovan doesn't know how to utilize anybody the best for the team.

Haize, I would love for AK & Marc Eversley to build something sustainable for the Bulls future. But I just don't see that happening with Billy Donovan still be here as Head Coach for the next 2 seasons. Not to mention Jerry Reinsdorf continously inserting himself unnecessarily.
I’ll say this I think Clingan is exactly the type of center AK loves so it makes sense that’s probably the number 1 player on his board. He’s got passing, shooting potential, defense and he’s a big body. It depends on what we are trading to move up. If it involves Lavine and maybe our pick or that blazers pick I’m cool with that. When we start talking about including Caruso it’s iffy depending on the return. But I do agree with your point maybe it just makes more sense to just stay pat and grab Kel’el Ware but he’s super skinny and I’m not sure how big of fans AK is of a center with that prototype. Also you cooked the Bronny fans 🤣 those mfs are weird fasho. Lastly I’m cool with keeping PWill anything below 22 millions and that’s pushing it. If we can get him 3 years at 15-18 with a team option in the last year it’ll be perfect
Why Bulls can't mach any offer Pat will get? If we let DeMar walk, there is 100% space under luxury tax. Donovan doesn't understand how to use Pat, no suprise Pat has many teams knocking to his door.
I don’t think there is any chance his trade value can be any lower imo. Any lower would be waiving or buying out his contract.
Then you are missing a few things.
If he comes back and plays bad it will drop.
If he plays well but the Bulls look like a worse team with him it's will drop.

I'm sooooo over Patrick Williams. If he goes he goes. I wish him well on his next team, but I can't take watching him score 20 pts one game and 3 points the next two games. He plays like a ghost on the basketball court. He appears and {POOF} he disappears. At least he tries on defense, but on offense, he doesn't have anything more than a set shot and an occasional dunk. Hellz, P. Will has more highlighted missed dunks than actual dunks. LOL. He's a huge bust as a low post scorer and rebounder. P. Will is gifted with gr8 DNA, but there have been plenty of 6'8" Hulk types that never cut it in the NBA. Chalk P. Will up as 1 more.
