I think for some people, bags are extremely important as it inspire them to make the most of life. Art, beauty, music and genuine connection could have a great impact on human psyche. But yeah, everything in balance.
*condup* These famous brand capitalists take note of people’s comparison mentality. It’s not uncommon for ladies to buy bags easily because they don’t have money to buy them. Only by setting the threshold and having to go through so much hard work to get the bags can people feel valuable. special value. The dopamine threshold of rich people can no longer be satisfied by normal consumption.
My collection is almost 20 bags and I decided to stop buying and just enjoy what I have . I rotate them on daily basis. I might sell 1 or 2 if I find myself not reaching for them
I feel like some people who are selling their bags and Luxury stuff now were just in it for the image that owing them “brings” them not the joy of fashion. They go for trends, trends always change so you will never reach happiness that way because there is always something trendier. It exhausted them. I always go for what I like I couldn’t care less about whats trendy and other peoples options. Great video as usual dear Jess. Edit: I’m talking about people who sell all their bags.
Leather and silverware needs regular maintenance if heat/humidity is high in Asia . Even cosmetics and skincare has to be stored in mini fridges . Store them in places that’s cooler on most days . I’ll gently buff my items w care lotions and it’s nicely protected without molds.
I’m in Melb, at my place upstairs it gets very hot and humid during summer. Defn lost a few bags. They become sticky, glue within the bag gets sticky. I have thought about running a dehumidifier in my room esp during summer Currently have those containers that help draw moisture from the drawers my bags are in.
I’m very protective of my bags and jewelry and exp watches . My husband and I worked hard to save and buy these items so yes we treasure our possessions.
I have spent a lot of time in Townsville which is similar climate to Cairns and I think it is not only the heat and humidity that s not good for the bags, it is a different kind of clothes vibe to Melbourne, so expensive leather is just not so appealing to have as an accessory.
I love the charms you used on your Fendi Spy bag! The Care Bear is adorable!! I love the green ipod case! Nothing is a waste of money if it brings you joy! Even if you never take a bag outside, and it lives on your shelf but you love looking at it, then, it is worth the price! Oh, yeah I totally get why you sold the brown Kelly. If you end up not liking the color of anything you buy, I feel it’s best to just sell it because like you said, you can use the money you get to purchase a bag you do want! Makes sense🌸 Also! Wow-you wanted to move to Cannes, France? That is cool ( unless there is another Cannes in Australia?). You looked so pretty! That lip color was gorgeous!❤
@@deborahcurtis1385 oh! Thank you and of course!! That makes sense, I was like why would she move to France? I mean it’s lovely but does she speak French🤔?. And I heard “Cans” (although side note, Cannes in France is pronounced “Kahn” (no “s” sound) so I should have known she was talking about another place and now I am digressing 😅). Thank you again! I love learning new things💃🏿
hehe yes!! sadly I am not moving to France!! But that would be quite an adventure!! yay hanks so much!! its a new Chanel lipstick 🤗 have a lovely start to the week!!🌷
I buy bag because I love the brands or fit me, never buy because of hype or trends, I owned a Alma MM in monograms for 27+ years, I only used only few time. It's the sentimental value, and I never thought of selling it. If buy bag for the wrong reason, you will never be happy and love what you have. In my opinion, property is only thing I consider investment. Of course, we all different and unique in our own, we can fill our own mentality into others. you do you, but Never follow treads or the virtual unrelistze social media or influencers. JUST my HUMBLE opinion.
Babe, you NEED TO FIX YOUR AUDIO QUALITY !!! I still watch your videos and love your content, just it's really scratching my ears with the high tonalities. YOU NEED TO GET A BETTER MICROPHONE; PLEAAAASE ❤
Hi Jess! Great video! I got rid of some bags. I have never sold a bag though. Sometimes I donate them to a women's shelter, or else my nieces get them. But I would most definitely NOT donate a Hermes or Chanel bag, lol. P.S. I like your jacket! ❤
I live in the Middle East and we have hot climate most days in the year but we have air conditioning everywhere so we don’t have any concern about the material of the bag and I don’t think it’s a reason for any UA-camr to sell her bag
JESSSIE MOVE TO CAIRNS! I Live in townsville, and having no problems with my bags. but, i will say that tville is more dry heat. but its so so good up here. my mental health is 100x better
Morning Holly!! Yes!! I can imagine!! Melbourne does feel gloomy sometimes!! I love that tropical heat feeling 😂 Mental health is super important!! I know in my lifetime I will probably retire in Cairns or queensland!!
Regardless of social status, buying things that need to be practical is the right answer. Buying something that you can’t bear to use is just a waste of money *condup*

HAHAHAH
Your compassionate pov and comments changed my perspective on this topic a little bit. love your brain 💗
aw!! sending the love back!
Trust me our luxury bags get mouldy in Singapore, silver hardware gets rusty easily too. Not fun to maintain😅
is it the humidity or the heat? I'm getting this issue in ENGLAND-
@@seabreeze4559 I think it’s the humidity. I also reside in the Middle East, the heat doesn’t seem to affect the bags with these issues.
Omg! 😨 Never heard of that.
Yes!!! I think sydney can be similar too!! its more humid there than in Melbourne!! gosh so annoying!!

Cairns in Northern Queensland, Australia. It's a tropical climate very humid in the wet season.
