Actually this is from Debi Winchester. I cannot understand why you wouldn't make the front and back pieces taller so that it could be folded over to keep the crayons from falling out. I used to make Crayon Aprons for kids and you could fold them over and use the ties to secure a roll when not wearing the apron. Prints are fun and instructor is very clear with directions.

I agree with you about making a fold over flap, because as soon as that roll is turned upside down all those crayons will be all over the floor.

This video is great and your instructions are clear to understand. Question if I wanted to make a colored pencil holder that rolls up just like this crayon holder what would be the measurements the fabric interfacing and the the ribbon for it?

Making one for my granddaughter right now it looks so simple to do. Will try it. Do you have a simple book bag pattern to carry a coloring book with the roll too. Stay Safe till the next time.
