Did they even look at your appeal? You know if you push this they can't get away with it? The TOS you agree to does not let people rob you of money without reason. If you approach this the right way YT will stop treating you like some peasant.
Wasn't as profitable for companies compared to social media (or Discord for that matter), and social media also attracted a greater number of people (like older family members eager to share photos.)
Same reason they got rid of being able to remove and replace the cell phone batteries. Too much freedom. Inability to profit further until removal of that freedom.

Since I actually got inspired by your videos just today as hopped onto CSS for a bit, remembered I had an old pc in my closet, and wanted to turn it into a retro gaming machine.
