That's exactly the vibes I read from him. He reminds me of an Inquisitor from the Middle Ages. Another great lady I follow said Walz is like the tender hearted kid who saved ET, and Vance is the government agent who tried to kill him! That one is hard to top.

Vance did a nice job in the debate last night of mostly appearing to be a reasonable human being. The problem with Vance is the problem with the universe -- appearances are not facts. He was doing the same act last night as he did when he did PR for the Marines during the war in Iraq, the same act that Putin was doing when he seduced Trump.

The Catholic Church is not uniquely abusive. All churches/religious outfits have similar problems with immoral clergy, including Muslims and Jews, Buddhists and Protestants. The problem with Roman Catholicism in America is how political it is. All the right wingers who want to overthrow democracy choose either evangelicalism or Catholicism to signal to their supporters their Christian Nationalism. The catholic kind of christofascist is more rooted in European fascism of the XX c. than evangelicals.
