Your excercises make it impossible not to greatly improve the scale and arpeggio of F sharp.
    They all foolproof!
Who would have thought that you can make scales and arpeggios seem exciting!( genius)!

In some small way, I introduce new people to your tutorials by sending various videos of your fascinating videos.
Of course, 10000 is fantastic, and richly deserved , as you share your expertise wholeheartedly with us.
We are privileged to learn from you.
    Thankyou so much Danae.❤️

You should have way more than 10k subs! Of all of the piano technique channels, yours has been the most practical and helpful for me. My daily warmup routine is strongly based on yours, with a couple of helpful drills from my instructor thrown in.

This has been a great help to me, especially as I’ve never enjoyed the passage of the thumb in this arpeggio .Your excercises will make the whole process easier.
Also, I have always found scales with many black notes much easier to execute than, say, C Major, which I find strangely awkward.
Thanks so much for your enlightening video.😊

I typically practice arpeggios 4 notes to the beat at mm 176 but have to slow it down to 160 for F#. Look forward to trying some of these suggestions to get up to speed. Thank you for taking the time to make such helpful videos.

Thanks Danae, excellent techniques as always. Your channel has become my go to for piano practice. I wonder if you would do a video on the Chopin Opus 10 no. 5 which of course is all about the black keys.

Danae can you make all your teaching video all like this, first you play very slowly, second the camera above I can see your finger and how you play them clearly, third you will explain how you play it

Thanks for this very useful video. I was looking for a F# related post for a slightly different reason. I am having difficulty in fingering when playing C major scale but with F# instead of F. This is a very popular scale in Indian classical music (similar to the Lydian mode in western classical music) . The standard fingering of 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 doesn't work there because of F# instead of F. What is the recommended fingering for this, 1234, 123?

    •  Рік тому +2

Yes exactly! 1234123 is what I would do. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
