@@TheParrottBros YW! I’ve wanted a MK1 for years now no matter what people said about them. Im a photographer and fell in love with the aesthetic of the MK1. Now I finally have one as I have no practical reason to own a more passenger conducive car Im so relieved to find a community with the likes of yourself and a few others on here and both on the TT forum keeping these beauties alive! It’s the first time I’ve ever bought a car cos I wanted this model every other choice has been budget and practical tick boxes!
Hello Mate. Can you please shed some light on the brake specs? I have fitted Porsche 986 fronts 4 pot and Brembo cross drilled 310mm disks with Brembo pads. No matter what pad or disk I have used (EBC, slotted, Brembo Xtra Slotted) my brakes keep squeeling under light braking (not hard braking). What diameter of disks are you using and what brand if I may ask
Great update as always Mr Parrott. This,year i did some good miles going to events honestly the very bit was the drive Dumfries stuuning drive. And of course the convoy to vorsprung was loads of fun. So i think a blend of road trip and meet point is good balance

2024 be a good year. As alqaya loads to do on my carhaha ( wipers stopped working today) but exciting times ahead:)
Hi mate. Love the channel. One of the main reasons i bought my TT for our latest build on our channel. We are looking to do more road trips in 2024 ourselves. We planned one this year and took a few friends along as we created the Accelerate 500. From South Wales to the tip of North Wales then following the coast road down to St Davids (west). Then back up over the Brecon Beacons to the Top Gear road (Black Mountains). More than welcome to join us 👍

Hey Dom. Thanks for the video. I'll probably do the NC500 again next year and also hoping to get to more meets than this year. In terms of jobs, I need to get round to spraying some protective stuff on the underside so that the rot doesn't take hold of it.
I would thoroughly recommend taking the time to seal the underside, you'll thank yourself in years to come ha ha, I absolutely love the north coast 500 we do it every single year, glad to hear you've got loads of cool stuff lined up

For my thumbnail car I'm considering centre intercooler and water meth plus a haldex upgrade.
For the Ugly Duckling I still need to get the snapped timing belt sorted, I have all the parts and brand new head.
Unfortunately I'm looking at 6-12 months rehab after appendix cancer surgery and right hemicolectomy surgery so nothing happening for a fair while. I'll just be watching.
Wow sorry to hear of your medical setbacks. Hope your on the mend, plenty of time to hoard parts and make a decent list! Your gonna be unstoppable when you’re back at it mate. Sometimes a bit of downtime isn’t a bad thing, life is so hectic it’s nice to take a step back and do less. ( I’m sure your itching to get back out and at it though )

Mines going into Badger 5 in January. Blown turbo. Poorly tt lol. Gonna take the plunge and get upto 400bhp whilst it's being fixed.😁

Tough decisions them! I’m terrible at making decisions. That’s why it’s prob safe I’ve only got 1 tt to mod the other can stay factory 😂😂
@@TheParrottBros Yes, indeed 😂 Problem is, I always wanted to do a 3.2 QS, but mine is is some ways a bit to nice to change….
I’d love to install methanol injection on my mk1 TT. It’s gets crazy hot here in South Australia. So please if you get a chance make a more in-depth video on the installation.

I have an 2005 MK1 TT 3.2L and I’m having temp issues i know my fans are just sitting in there loosely & don’t spin when car is on not sure if my control module is burnt out or not yet either haven’t tested it yet but what would you recommend I do to get to fans taking front end off? Will be the start of my journey with this car any tips or word from you would be a help brother see you got a lot of time on your hands with these cars
i have a video discussing boost issues and testing fans, its likely the slow speed has failed in the fans and or the thermostating switch in the radiator is not working, both very easy to test and if you have a look through my videos you will find all the info you need,
you will need to loosen the front end as its very tight to get them out if you need to, but doable without fully removing everything
I like your purple hands mod, impressive 😉 looks like the same silicone hoses as on mine SFS? So is the noggy turning into a donar car or do you have plans to rebuild it as stock?? Amazing meth injection, is this similar to what the Germans used in their subs and piston engine fighter aircraft in WW2? it gave them a serious boost in speed for a short time. Mine's going well at moment and enjoying it driving it about, no plans other than to drive it now!! Merry Christmas Dom, Si
Glad to hear all is going well, the purple glove mod is because a friend gave me a box of them, but they are far too small to use on normal people hands 😂 yes, they are SFS pipes, great company, and only round the corner from me.
You know what I’m not 100% sure, but I will certainly look into it, could well be what they used as it does increase power unless they were using some sort of nos - based gas. And you mate have a very merry Christmas and don’t over indulge too much 😅😅

They are from a Mk1 leon Cupra R, Cbautos do a nice 4 pot brembo brake upgrade package if your looking for new
