Great demo, it's nice to see this played at a high level. I have a rules question starting at 20:08. Black cap in foreground volleys the ball from outside the NVZ line, then to hold back his momentum he skirts the NVZ line with a couple of steps but then touches the outside NVZ line with his right heel well after the ball has been returned back. It seems like he is still trying to hold back his momentum when he steps onto the line. Under rule 9C, if they had not lost the point, would point be awarded to the far side?

What was the call that stopped that great rally with an ATP save??
It appeared the ball hit his paddle, then the ground before popping back over. After reviewing it later… CLEAN.
