@@starxhilmie lmao no it doesn't, it's got a bit of a tiny pop beat in the background of SOME parts of SOME songs, and there's nothing wrong with that. They're doing something new, progressing their music into the future rather than clinging on to their old songs and trying to get the "good days" back which never works. This album is great, its fresh, and way more than I was expecting after that Lil Wayne debacle and the mediocre Blame it on My Youth track.
There's only like two good songs. This is actually the worst blink album. Most of it is trash

The non singles on this album are outstanding
Another album where I think all the non-singles are better than all of the singles. Sometimes I wonder why bands pick the singles they do.

Let’s be honest here. I think two of the singles (Happy Days and Blame It On My Youth) are probably the worst two in the album (excluding the two super short “songs”). The rest of the album is great though
I don’t understand why so many bands pick some of the worst songs on their album to be singles (Heavy being Linkin Park’s lead single on OML immediately comes to mind)

This song hits me hard…. 10 years of friendship and love gone in a single conversation. I’ll never forget the emotions of listening to this song through such a difficult time… unreal there were nights driving home that I would scream this song… Now I listen to it and the emotions flow through me like energy… something I can’t explain, but it no longer Carry’s sad emotions.

Today October 7th, 2022, blink fans are hoping for a possible return of Delonge, and maybe it's gonna happen. Still, I want to say Thank you, Matt, for everything you've done in the past years, you took a tough place to fill and you did it great I even feel Feldman didn't let you show all your dark potential and that's pretty sucks man cuz you're a fantastic songwriter. I don't know what's gonna happen next but like Scott Raynor, you're part of this band's history and legacy now and ever.

@@13b80p49b91 I'd say the 4 I listed, then probably TOYPAJ, then the new one, then Neighborhoods, California, and Cheshire Cat. I still like a good chunk of songs off each of those last three though. My favorite songs off the new one are definitely More Than You Know, One More Time, and Dance With Me in that order. We'll see how I feel in a few months, but that's where I'm at now after about 5 run throughs of the new album. It's good, especially the first half of the album, but the middle back half has some filler before the last couple tracks pick up again. Can't wait to see them live next summer. I've seen them live twice, but both times were before their first break up.
With this album being out for a few months and dozens of full listens, this album is fantastic.

i was wondering about the backstory or inspiration to write this song because it's really dark and sad. it seems like a family fallout situation kind of song. feels like the person who's singing the song is someone who was betrayed by their own family. lies were told and hearts got broken along the path of writing this song.

As much as I like Tom… I feel the last two albums with Matt have been amazing. There is a definite since of maturity in these albums from the early days.

I lost my best friend to covid last year a few days from his birthday and I’m still not ok, nothing feels right with him gone.. part of me wants to join him.
I had a friend coworker in place I worked back in 2019. Few days after Nine was relased my dear friend died in horrible car crash. This song as well as whole album helped me getting out of hole. I listened it every day for a year. Thank you Blink for that masterpiece, it still means a lot to me.

However there's 1 ingredients I miss from your music nowadays: that "simple-catchy guitar and/or bass certain melody" (usually as the intro). Remember Adam Song, Stay Together for the Kids, All the Small Things, First Date, Damn it, etc? I learned guitar and memorized your music thru those melody. The good 'ol Blink 182!
