I remember getting to this point. The gentle snowfall and the warm looking lodge inviting you inside and giving you a false sense of security. I was around 14 when this happened and I entered and it transitioned, and I got SO SCARED that I paused the game for like 30 minutes and had to work up the courage to play it again after that time. Good times.
Same here, I remember covering my bedroom windows to maximize the immersion of this perfect video game at the time and when this happened to me I was scared as well. Ended up being one of my fondest memories of the game, most definitely from the impact. I still play it to this day because no game will come close to the feelings this game gave me. It’s a lost art nowadays
I love winter settings and cottages and I thought this would be a purchasable property and I was so excited and this happened. It gave me a jump but I was so sad that I couldn’t buy it. 🥺
I remember thinking at first that this would be my favourite home, I was hoping to find a place just for my character to stay away from his family. Then…
So I was a child when I got to here, saw this place and thought it was pretty neat and cozy, a stark contrast to the place you were exploring prior. I made the mistake of going inside however. Moment it changed, I was so fucking spooked and paranoid, I didn't even think to check for a chest, I just immediately bailed and booked it for the exit. I never went back there. God I love this game.
Me: Finally..after hours of thinking Mutton Chops was a food, I have figured out that it was a haircut! Now I have gained entry into this annoying Demon Door! *Enters through Demon Door.* Me: Wow..this looks..worth it.. *Walks down the path till I see the lodge.* Me: Oh wow..what a nice looking- *Goes inside, heart jumps, eyes widen and I place my controller on the floor and go collect myself. Come back, find the blunderbuss.* Me:...(unenthused) yaaaaay..
I'm pleased to say that when I went in there first time playing, it didn't scare me or make me jump, when it changed I just drew my sword ready for action lol.

Sorry it scared you so much.
I think it's really cruel what they did to Player's.

I remember thinking something was wrong as I was approaching the house, it was just too comfortable and inviting.
Oddheader brought me here, what was Peter Molynoux trying to originally do here?
I think I jumped to the ceiling with this one 😂 great game.
in the suggested videos for this video is:
"Traps Don't Exist, and Here's Why"
Clearly whoever made that video never played Fable 2.
This place and the Forest Sactum are my favorite demon doors, they've a really nice essence. :)
