Actually, as one of the animators on this project I would like to clarify that though it is in Filmation style, all the art is new (It took us nearly 2 years)

Filmation's animation has often be called 'crude'. As a kid I never thought that. I don't feel that today. It was enough to carry the story forward and that's the important thing. This is outstanding. Congrats to all involved for some new memories. 👏👏
Thelin!!! I always wondered what happened when Kirk and Spock fixed the timeline. He needs to step it up, though. Only an helmsman or navigator? He should be a science officer by now. 😅
What in blue blazes? This is pretty freakin’ good! How could it be on here for 10 years and I’m now seeing it? Hopefully the following acts/parts are as good. 😎
I will never forgive TNG for never having included the Gorn in just 1 episode in 7 seasons. I always wondered what their uniforms and ships might have looked in the TNG era.
Oh wow... how come i never noticed *this* before?! I love seeing new Star Trek fan films; especially ones that refer to previous official Star trek episodes. Speaking of that, is the Andorian officer shown here meant to be the same one that 'displaces' Spock in the altered continuity in the first act of the animated episode *Yesteryear* ? Looks the same anyway, and i think his name is the same too though I'm not 100% certain of that. Anyway; looking forward to watching the whole set.
First, I want to say it looks great and obviously a lot of work was done. However, it's obvious the Filmation original was to say the very least a reference guide for most of it. I'm sure most animators do this to some degree. (I think John K. mentioned he does this) It does look sharp.
Well done. Why wait for Paramount and Abrams when you now have technological means--and hopefully talent--to produce your own version of Star Trek, and probably do it better.
Don't be scared to do a DIFFERENT ship as starfleet has OTHER ship designs beyond just the Constitution class. Maybe Saladin scout ship or maybe federation class dreadnought. Possible medical ships too. Even a thru-deck shuttle carrier would prove really interesting. Different scenarios with variable capabilities beyond the limits of the Enterprise.
I see. You're taking the filmation star trek episodes and making new episodes from them like Sealab 2021. Okay. Get Walter Koenig to write two episodes. He wrote two for the filmation series.
Contact the man who owns this page. He claims he has compiled enough vocals of the original cast to make approximately 17 full, new episodes of the original series. As you can see by his prototype he originally envisioned it in CGI animation but, was unable to complete it. Perhaps, the two of you can work together and use his audio recordings to make filmation style animated episodes. ua-cam.com/video/NCD9tgWeZYQ/v-deo.html
+*Shadowkey392* No it isn't, you targ. There was never a TAS episode like this. It's made in the same style, but this was a brand new, independent production. Grow up.
Not quite stolen from... The first animated episode features an endorsement from Filmation's Lou Scheimer himself... since deceased. Or was it Hal Sutherland. One or the other of 'em, anyway!
Really poor dialogue. First rule of good writing is that you don't explain things to the audience that the characters know. If explanation is necessary, you show rather than tell, or you have the dialogue address the facts as part of the plot or indirectly - not with lame "As you know...." speeches to the audience.
YES I HAVE THE ORIGINAL PLASTIC PACKAGED CASE STAR TREK ANIMATED SERIES FROM FILMATION WITH ALL 22 EPISODES OF THE ANIMATED SERIES IN DVD FORMAT AND YES UNFORTUNATELY THAT IS THE CORRECT OPENING THEME MUSIC THAT SOUNDS REALLY OFF AND NOTHING LIKE THE THEME MUSIC FROM THE ORIGINAL SHOW I DON’T KNOW WHY THEY DIDN’T USE THE ORIGINAL OPENING THEME MUSIC FROM THE ORIGINAL SHOW BUT THAT WAS ONE OF THE DRAWBACKS OF THE FILMATION ANIMATED SERIES QUARK I MIGHT HAVE HAD TO DO WITH COPYWRITE ISSUED WITH LICENSES FOR ROYALTIES
Wow, you animated this? It looks like the work Filmation did on TAS in the 1070's. Oh wait, it IS from Filmation, only with some stuff you added over the background plates, where you didn't give credit to the artists or Filmation proper. You could bother to give them credit at least, along with giving credit for the music cues. Must be a nice gig to take their work and smack your shit on top and call if your work. I think I'll take this, and put it on one of my channels, but call it my animated Star Trek, cutting out all references to you.

Miss classic Trek. Thanks for this, the quality is worth paying for.
Thumbs up & HUGE PROPs for Tim Russ / Tuvok depiction!!!
this Vulcan is a virtual clone of Tyvok if not his dad or ancestor !!!
Love the voices! I can understand everybody! The voices are so clear and articulate! Now this is more like it!! THANK YOU!!!
Awwww,, I love the Gorn,, they're my favorite Alien race. :)

Nice "get" with Tim Russ!

Finally, my favorite aliens the Gorn. You get to see what their Gorn scorpion destroyers look like. They even battle the Romulan birds of prey.
My favorite Star Trek aliens of all time. The Gorn.
Dr. T-Mar looks just like Tim Russ (Tuvok on ST-Voyager) good job guys
nick butter Couldn't have said it better. Tim Russ should be proud.
He did the voice you dummies!
Is that Tim Russ' voice?!? sounds like it. He has participated in some fan creations I think.

10:35 interesting design for the Gorn ship.

Yes. It's the same character in THIS timeline, the prime timeline.

Where can I see the first volume? How many episodes have been made? Where can I find out what has been made so far?
Any Luck Finding answers to your questions ?¿?

The original Star Trek animated series 1973 was created by the same people who did the Archies 1968 and Fantastic Voyage 1968/69.
and scotty is there too ^w^ man, i love to hear scotty ^w^

Tell that to Paramount & CBS's 10 rules to making Star Trek fan films.

Why did the Gorn captain ignore the Metreon's interference?
And Tuvok never said he had a twin!
A relative, perhaps?
James Doohan the original Scotty portrayed by his son Chris
I canna tel no difference in their voice ( Scottish accent implied )

Andorians are blue , no ?

Why the Farragut? why not Lexington or Exeter?
but filmation went belly up?
Animation might work better for fan films than live. Fan films never quite seem to get the camera work right.
Thelin is just a lieutenant in the prime timeline? He did an lot better in the “Yesteryear” timeline, commander and 1st officer of Enterprise.
This has Filmation written all over it.
