I could listen to Tony Atlas shoots all day everyday. Such a great, genuine, down to Earth and honest guy with lots of interesting stories to tell. I think he should write a book.
He wrote a book a few years a go. It was very good. I would love him to get a podcast.

He is actually right about the way he was built. He wasn't built like a tall guy at all. Certainly very unique proportions
Andre was like one of a kind just like Ali Wilt these types of people come around once in a life time.

These Tony Atlas shoot interviews are awesome.
A dwarf isn't the best analogy but Andre was unique because he did have a low center of gravity for a big guy. The 60 something teeth story, dnt think so lol
There was no internet back in the day, so his appearance was exaggerated. Stories like having 64 teeth, 2 rows of teeth, 7'4, 2 hearts. I believe that the stories that were true were his drinking and his feats of strength.
@melvindiaz7912 alot of people back up the drinking stories so yes I believe those to. Andre was actually 6' 11". The story w him picking up the 4 guys in the car and turning it on its side is total bullshit. But yes wrestling exaggerates or lies to create an image so i get it.
Jake the snake was Andre’s handler too when he first broke in the business. A lot of good stories there too
Andre was massive you just had to see him in person to understand how huge he really was..........

Andre wasn't exactly cremated right away. There were no crematoriums in France that could accommodate his body. So his body was flown back to the USA to be cremated.

Honestly it seems like Andre was a bully and actually mean to Tony.
He was to other wrestlers, but not Tony.
Andre didn't keep growing in height. He shrunk. His hands or head did. I've never heard that he was cremated so they wouldn't research his body.
He didnt actually shrink his joints were wearing out so he stopped and his joints didnt hold him up as well
