Great video I'm buying a 03 Ls 430 for super cheap, it needs a few things done on it such as factory oem rims put back on it , the interior is a little warn but not bad and a little paint correction and it'll be a beautiful car again, for $2,500 I can't beat it or complain although it does have 212,434 miles on it, she still runs like new.
Bought one recently that was sitting for 7 years jump started it and drove it home I was mesmerised how smooth and well it drove after being sitting so long

Get the Ls 430, they perfected the Ls when they build the 430, after that the build quality went down. Not the same and it got even worse when they downgraded to twin turbo V6.
@@odinxrk1424 yes. It's also quite a bit heavier and has the 3uz engine as opposed to the 1uz in the ls400. Since the 3uz is a bit bigger at 4.3 liters, it has a fair bit more torque. IMO the '98-00 ls400 is the sexiest sedan ever built and they feel a bit more mechanical than the ls430. If you ask me the 3rd gen ls400 and face-lift ls430 are two of the best cars ever built. Can't go wrong.

Alot of people are saying it's the most reliable car ever however I see many used ls430s with broken transmissions. Also heard the suspension is a $4-5k grand part fix even if you do it yourself.
Stick to your motorcycles, because obviously you are going by what people say and most likely you have never driven one or even owned one! These cars are one of the best, if you do your research and driven one you would see the truth! It's the timing belt that needs to be replace at every 100k and that the only major issue.

As long as you let it warm up before stepping on it, and going mellow for a couple minutes before arriving it should still be bulletproof. That being said mid to long daily commutes are better for big engines like that.

Just got one 100k still runs fast, I had a gs300 before but the suspension on that car does not compare to the ls430.

That is such a well built car. For me, I’m debating on wanting the LS400 or LS430. I’m not too fond of the LS460 and current.

That's ls460.
Broken transmission is not common for the LS430. Also you are talking about air suspensions which are expensive to replace.

City is about 17mpg highway about 25mpg. Combined 19-20mpg. That's my daily 90mile total driving from sugarland texas to humble texas for work.
