Thanks so much for this! Bladesworn has been one of those classes that never clicked for me, so I'll definitely need to dust it off and give this one a try.
Thank you so much. Bladesworn is one of my favorite professions aesthetically but the open world build I was using didn't feel very comfortable. Your build however, LOVE it. It feels so nice to play now!
Thanks for the guide! I'm a new player who picked Warrior specifically because the Bladesworn reminds me of two of my favorite jobs in FF14 (Samurai and Gunbreaker). I used the level boost I got from buying the expansions so I could get to Bladesworn quicker and I'm having a ton of fun with it (the sound design for the gunsabre is absolutely fantastic, it's like my character is swinging around an autocannon strapped to a greatsword), and this guide has been extremely useful for helping me understand the complexity I've just leaped into.
Loves your videos, it helped me alot❤ I started playing 1 month ago, i got rare drop "Fang of the Lion's Champion" 😍🔥waiting for it to get sold to buy all the living worlds ♥️♥️
Thx for the build!! One addition if i may which has a small plus 1 button but increases dps by 5% (maybe 3,5-4% but fully worth it in my opinion!) Instead of relic of thief use relic of peitha. You just need to use displace (the teleport skill while you dragon trigger (4)) before you do the big slash and boom - 10% modifier 😊
Buffs on:Fury + Bowl of Sweet and Spicy Butternut Squash Soup + Potent Superior Sharpening Stone Gear exotic from your build I am at max 96,61% crit chance. Is it impossible to top up to 100% crit or am I doing something wrong?
Exotic makes you lose a bit of precision, so you'll have to include additional assassins gear or use power + precision food to cap. Using a spindrift weapon on top will do the trick for example :)
How much of a dps difference is there if you use Sword/Pistol rather than Axe/Pistol? Axe is cool and all, but I like having a dash on hand incase I need to move somewhere quickly.
Finally BS explained in great detail!! 🎉😁 I am a newer player, my question is, how do you upgrade your gun sword to Ascended or higher? You Rock! Thanks for the video! 🐜
Ty! Gunsaber is a bundle, meaning that you don't need to upgrade it. It uses sigils and stats from your weapon set, so it only partially depends on the weapons you use :)
I gotta ask, Is there another off-hand you can swap besides pistol? Not big into full guns, yes, even though the gunblade is a thing. my warrior brain say if you can hit with it, it must be a melee weapon.
Thank you for this, Masel. Right now I am switching to the build mentioned in this video as i was using an older Bladesworn build mentioned for EoD. In that build the Open World Solo Build mentioned using "For Great Justice!" As one of the utility skills. Is it still viable here (given that we have alot of sources of Fury already and Might generation now comes from Dragon Trigger)? I will be utilizing the Defense Spec with Brave Stride + Stalwart Strength.
Thank you for the great guide. When it comes to easy builds though, I think I will just stay on my power dps mech. Currently, just slamming my forehead on my keyboard and paying no attention to anything, I did 37.2k dps on the dummy just yesterday, using MrMystic's build. Compared to that, Bladesworn is much, much harder to play. I have to admit though, seeing the big damage numbers is fun.
It is harder to play, bit it has one of the best burst damage numbers in the game. Condich mech on the other hand is a rather low ramp-up, build, meaning that you'll take quite some time killing things on your own, and you'll fall short in fights where that ramp can't complete.

Good call :) I remember reading a discussion on that in the SC discord a while back

@@MaselMMO thanks!

It's not much since you rely too much on Dragon Trigger

Great video! How do you display the buffs in the middle of the screen?
This is the true question I have too 😅
It's an addonn named "Clarity"
Gw2clarity is the addon :)
just got back to gw2, since when did we switch main hand from axe to sword ?
Just a variation on the build, I guess? In fact the dps difference is not that much since Bladesworn rely on Dragon Slash attacks

Good that you realised that you have no choice
