If you play the story/arcade mode for Mash B and Neco Arc you'll unlock Neco Ciel, Neco Akiha, Neco Hisui, and Neco Kohaku color swaps and they all change the voice actor for neco arc to those characters VAs doing their own neco arc. I really like Neco Ciel

If I close my eyes, Ryoko's voice sounds like it's coming from a dubious little creature. Ikumi's sounds like it could be from a highschool girl in a slice of life anime. Both performances are good, but Ryoko's takes the cake.

The old one sounds like a deep voice being more nasal / cat-like, almost purring at times. The new one is a rather high voice trying to be deep, sounding almost haughty in effect. While the new voice by itself is okay, it doesn't fit Neko-Arc as well as the old one did and is more generic/less iconic. I think the actress does a good job, probably. But she just isn't the right pick, since her natural voice is too high, meaning she would be way too high if she spoke nasally/cat-like. Good Actress, wrong role, in my opinion.

I kinda like that the new voice is a little more chill most of the time. Kind shows that Neco-Arc has mellowed a bit.
The original sounds way more cursed. It's a perfect fit for La Creatura. The new one is decent, but a little less weird and more tryhard.
