this ost gave and still give me so much just like the previous one. i cant get tired of listening to this music. also the game was so heartful so emotional and colorful. faith is so pretty and charismatic, she is more than a 3D character, she have made us to believe.
The Sky's not the limit Agree everything u said. Solar Fields did a wonderful job on this track. Faith is our heroine.

Unfortunately, although this is the best soundtrack in gaming history, because of how underrated the game was people are never going to experience it on a global level. Very sad!
Best was them of the first ME version - main menu theme. Never I heard so much deep sound design and atmos that soundtrack has. Specially if you are listening it on the roof observing the city, or looking at the ocean. From that day in my rock\metal library Solar Fields has taken its place with a pride.
At least we are Experiencing it, maybe it is for the greater good to be a hidden gem?

@@MrKasugano I agree the first ME OST was the best. It brought ambient music to gaming, when it was just becoming popular for use in commercials.
I played this game and loved the OST immediatly, in special this theme.
3 Months after the game release, I got released (kind word for fired) from my job at that time. This job and other outside factors took a high toll on my mental health. So after finishing saying my goodbyes to everyone, I standed outside the building with my stuff. This theme started to play at that precise moment and I broke down. I felt free, I wouldn't go back there anymore. And I felt, this theme made an offical closure to this chapter in my life. After that, I looked for therapy and it helped a lot.
Now everytime I hear this theme song, it teleports me back to that moment.
Proud of you buddy.. it's Nov 2022 but here I am.. this music is just so underrated.. this will always be among my favorite music till the day I die
It Sounds like more happy ending theme than previous version.

Delicious STeam this Catalyst version to me fits a late afternoon or early morning scene. The original theme, mostly middle of the day. But I guess it depends what parts of the game affect your emotions the most :)

ErinOcelotl :3 Ha, I do get goose bumps at the very beginning, but not really butterflies, ha :P Let's hope we have another Mirror's Edge game some time in the future soon.
Young NAF yeah I really hope so. and not another remake... I think that the people who made it said that if the game reached their expectations, they would make another game, but I've been on loads of websites (I'm not obsessed I promise xD) and seen nothing yet.

He has no dislike people like this soundtrack so much i hope there is another mirror's edge coming out in the future because we have a low chance this time 6.8/10 rating it is right now. I really enjoyed this game this is the only game i took serious.
Soundtrack is the best thing about this game. It's very uplifting like you are breaking free, literally. That's what this game is about, freedom. Normal constraints of game reviews defeat the purpose and objective of this game.

Even though I thought this game was worse than the original I can't deny the soundtrack was absolutely spot on.
