Few years back this was the first song I heard by Ren and was just blown away, probably still my favorite but chalk outlines and the hunger are close. Funny how different all three songs are, ren is something else.

War Pigs mashup that immediately followed this one is a good one, total change up. Can also recommend An Englishman in New York, Paint it Black, Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard - the latter two having Ren on bass. Ren also does some fantastic songs with Sam Tompkins such Blind Eyed (MC Sessions has the best audio) and Earned it/Man's World/Falling. My Nf friend! Yes ma’am...... I remember watching Ren and Sam busking for the first time singing earned it/ it’s a mans world/ fallen and I remember thinking to myself... how in the fck can people be walking by this performance and not even be stopping to empty their wallet? because it literally looked like their was maybe 10 people there and then the camera makes a quick pan of the crowd and my very next thought was one of full satisfaction, huge smile ear to ear! See because I knew if I had walked by a street and heard what these people in the video were hearing..... didn’t matter if I had a job to be at, funeral to attend, kids to be picked up from somewhere like very few things would have allowed me to leave! Yeah I’m finding a different job, whoever died they’ll still be dead, definitely calling the wife to get the kids! Just saying I live an hour from Memphis Tn , and went every year to Beale st for Memphis in May and tons of artist on every corner and in every alley. This mans is a talent I’ve never seen and heard

The amazing thing about this band is how different these musicians are individually. Romain Axisa (the other guitarist) has some amazingly creative stuff too, but he's also a very different solo artist than Ren, and yet as a band, these 4 guys just gel in a way that came be explained.

For now at least, the members of The Big Push have gone their own ways. With Ren doing his treatment in Canada and the lives of the other members scattering them across the globe, we can hope they come together again at some point in the future. Few years back this was the first song I heard by Ren and was just blown away, probably still my favorite but chalk outlines and the hunger are close. Funny how different all three songs are, ren is something else.

Another wonderful reaction Roni! I see this one hit you the same way it did me first time. The Big Push are incredible - so many good covers, mashups and original songs. War Pigs mashup that immediately followed this one is a good one, total change up. Can also recommend An Englishman in New York, Paint it Black, Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard - the latter two having Ren on bass. Ren also does some fantastic songs with Sam Tompkins such Blind Eyed (MC Sessions has the best audio) and Earned it/Man's World/Falling. This Ren rabbit hole is better described as a warren it runs deep and there is not a bad track anywhere. Keep it up and looking forward to the next one. All the very best from the UK.

My Nf friend! Yes ma’am...... I remember watching Ren and Sam busking for the first time singing earned it/ it’s a mans world/ fallen and I remember thinking to myself... how in the fck can people be walking by this performance and not even be stopping to empty their wallet? because it literally looked like their was maybe 10 people there and then the camera makes a quick pan of the crowd and my very next thought was one of full satisfaction, huge smile ear to ear! See because I knew if I had walked by a street and heard what these people in the video were hearing..... didn’t matter if I had a job to be at, funeral to attend, kids to be picked up from somewhere like very few things would have allowed me to leave! Yeah I’m finding a different job, whoever died they’ll still be dead, definitely calling the wife to get the kids! Just saying I live an hour from Memphis Tn , and went every year to Beale st for Memphis in May and tons of artist on every corner and in every alley. This mans is a talent I’ve never seen and heard

The amazing thing about this band is how different these musicians are individually. Romain Axisa (the other guitarist) has some amazingly creative stuff too, but he's also a very different solo artist than Ren, and yet as a band, these 4 guys just gel in a way that came be explained.

For now at least, the members of The Big Push have gone their own ways. With Ren doing his treatment in Canada and the lives of the other members scattering them across the globe, we can hope they come together again at some point in the future. In addition to The Big Push's UA-cam channel, you can find a lot of videos on the "Brighton Beach Busking BBB" channel of the members solo or as a band.
