It is a great tool but I also always try the good ole tools like you use my friend ! Really enjoying your content. You are doing a lot for us right now !!
@@easyastroimages5818 It's true that I prefer to keep it hands on to understand what's going on in the nuts and bolts in the background. Still, it's an impressive stretch.
“I have no idea how this ended up looking like this…” Can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that!! What, do it again? Ahh right… 😂 Nice to meet you on your LS last night Chad! Cheers! Doug
If you are processing OSC HOO data all you need to do is run Background N, Blur and Noise XT then an unlinked stretch prior to Narrowband Normalization. The latest NBN process is in Bills YT channel. Bill told me never to run SPCC or linked stretch. Use the HOO pallet and HA for luminance in the process.
Yeah I’ve got his latest tools downloaded. I was playing around so I figured well might as well record it. I was also doing some other content that will be coming soon. Sure can’t beat bills tools :) thanks for stopping by
@@davidstearn1342 it sure can exactly for times like this! Honestly I would extract the NB channels and stretch them seperately, but unlinked works in a pinch!
What were Bill's reasons for not running SPCC? I find it just frequently gives washed out color unless one wants to play with its gray scale settings for a while.
Thanks for the color by numbers and the data.
No problem! many more to come..very exciting time!!
The Seti Astro histogram tool did an excellent job.

SETI Astro statistical stretch also can be used unlinked.
