its going back to 90s slowly.. teams sticking together longer which makes them better because it takes at least 2 seasons to figure out everyones roles and carve out an identity, no team has an identity year 1 of coming together .. kawhi is a plug and play guy.. he hasnt won a title every since they made him focal point of the offense..a team needs an offense prior to the star and add the star in it, like kobe and jordan.. kawhi he was successful when he played in a system but the clippers made kawhi the system and they play through him while leaning towards playing through harden, still not going to work.. denver won when they had a denver offense not the joker offense, joker was mike malone on the court but then they got cocky and said stop running our offense and let joker just figure it out cause hes so smart, malone would reward any hard working players and use everyone but with the joker offense its heavy relying on the starting 5 cause the bench aint getting no type of trust or heavy minutes to get in rhythm hence the reason they lost to timberwolves.. worst bench of the whole playoffs but its not their fault or joker or mike malone, its the denver front office for making the call because "fans" wanna see joker do this and that like hes a circus act or something, the new denver fame got to their heads. they stopped using the whole team and looked like they played the same but if u watch closely they didnt play their game at all... lebron is the only system to go 7 or more finals off his system.. his weakness is injured star players... every star player dude ever gets is made of glass, from wade to kyrie to davis... nobody knows how many titles lebron wins if his stars never got injured, so teams have to play team offense because the one guy system is a failed attempt.. less trades makes guys either buy in or stay miserable until you find a way off the team.
Yall need to accept that we were only 1 piece away from contention. We are essentially 1 trade (w/ CHI for Jalen Smith & our 2024 1st) from a fantasy team. Turbo WAS the missing link. Perfect complement to both Ant & Grant with the ability to develop a pick and roll with Ayton.
Idk if I'd say this offseason was "Boring" prolly just depends on who ur team is. I'm a thunder fan soo our Offseason was hell fun. Ik we didn't get like a superstar type player like PG or Lauri but us getting Caruso and IHart was a pretty good steal for us.
i'm a jazz fan and this off-season was so boring. never-ending stories of Markkanen being traded to , and recently same story with Kessler being traded for 1st round to and Clarkson being offered to anyone willing to sign a paper. free of charge at least there were Olympics games to watch
i don't understand why you are so keen on moving Jerami Grant to Lakers. and getting what? draft pick, and Hachimura? so we get stuck with him, being a hole in defense? i don't see the big benefit.
I'm not really even saying he HAS to be traded, more so he doesn't fit on this team. So if his value is high right now (may not be) then you should get what you can for him. ESPECIALLY if a team like LA is willing to give up 2 1sts in a deal. (which ik they aren't rn but if they end up being willing to, you gotta go for it)
@@pnwdevv you gotta remember who their GM is.. people need to start treating pelinka like the idiot he is.. he doesnt know what hes doing and he will make the wrong move again this season too.. he is going to sabotage lebron for kobe until lebron retires..
I don’t understand why the NBA is making it hard on teams to trade, it’s ruined the league
Exactly bro. I get wanting talent to be even around the league but there's gotta be better options
I believe we’re about to enter an era of role play layer basketball. Which will make the games way more competitive imo
I agree, guys like Mikal, OG, and Deni Avdija are gonna be the new stars
Yeah I feel as the Blazers are actually ahead of the curve for once. Just getting assets.

Blazers really are a MIP year from Scoot or Shae away from contenders
Ur telling me we are one Jalen smith away from being as good as Dallas or OKC. That does not make much sense to me
@@pnwdevv if they are competing for 6th man; we good.
@@Smokey-45- we are already better than Dallas. Par with OKC

Yeah you got a point for sure. But overall feel like there's been a lot let player movement/ signings than in times past
I think this off-season has been so idle bc of the asking prices teams want nowadays :/

I think that's a part of it for sure, and sorta a bi-product of the CBA. Teams are thinking way ahead as far as trades and salary stuff goes

@@pnwdevv yeah, but why lakers would want grant? lakers needs a decent center so davis can play 4 more often, and some decent point guard.
@@mateuszzdyb3547 Grant would be a perfect 3rd "star" on the team and would pair alongside LeBron and AD well.
