Also, if you do this, don't forget that awful powdered Chai mix, the Indian snack mix (is it call chakri?) and the actually good aloo pockets that are like Indian hot pockets. If you can find it, also include the King Coconut Water that comes in little juice box like cartons but to clarify THAT IS SRI LANKAN 🇱🇰 🇱🇰 😁

@@missywoford1809 I'd say it's pretty good- it scratches the chicken tikka masala itch for way less than takeout (I live in NYC so it can be $$$) and it's quick to heat up in the microwave, plus the texture of the chicken is surprisingly good for frozen food. They also have a jarred tikka masala sauce, but I haven't tried it so I can't say anything other than "it exists!"
Polish strawberries are unlike any others! No surprise they were used in the strawberry milk marshmallows. We call them poziomki, and they are smaller, juicier, melt in your mouth strawberries that are so cute and delicious and I've only seen in Poland!
As a Polish person: I wouldn't necessarily call Poziomki polish strawberries because well...Poland has strawberries. Like actual strawberries that are good. According to google poziomki are "wild strawberries" . How do you know they used poziomki and not just like... Strawberries from poland?
We have them in Sweden aswell (smultron), although we consider them a different berry than strawberries. :) If you live close to an IKEA that sell the Lördagsgodis bags of jelly candies some of those have that flavour

I had never seen anyone breaking senbei before eating until I came to Japan. My four grandparents were Japanese and I was raised in a Japanese Brazilian community, but nobody would crack the senbei before eating. Here in Japan most people will crack the senbei inside the individual wrapper into bite size pieces before eating.
As a first generation Japanese, I got excited for this one. Thank you so much for doing this. Although I can make my own Gyoza, I definitely have those in my freezer all the time for quick meal, and I actually like Hijiki Fried Rice. And those little Rice Cracker is called "Arare" in Japanese. Senbei would not be a medley of small rice crackers. They are rather bigger round flat disc shaped rice crackers. I love Jen's "Manekineko" sweatshirt, too. Cute!

Just a counter opinion: I really like the fried rice, the tofu isn’t chunks of tofu, it’s like little strips throughout. I can see how they thought it was bland though, I usually add soy souce/aminos to make it a little saltier and more flavorful. (p.s. if you thought this was bland, don’t try the other TJ’s vegetable fried rice! I would rate it as just okay)
1:50 as a person of partial Chinese descent, my guess is that some brilliant and culturally sensitive marketing consultant (or several) at Trader Joe’s was like, “Chinese, Japanese, it’s all basically the same, I mean it’s Asian!” as though Asia was some homogenous, monocultural entity 😑
