On Friday 13th 2023 I became a father I had my first baby girl that day and I got too witness everything from the beginning up until seeing my wife deliver our baby girl. I thought I was gonna pass out but as her head was coming out I felt something inside me that I’ve never felt and as she came out I couldn’t stop yelling in joy and have a big smile on my face a few seconds later this song had came on and it gave me so many chills in a good way I could do nothing but cry and cry hearing this song and seeing my healthy baby… now I cry happy tears every time I hear this song… this song will always be a part of me now 🤞🏾

@saturnelixir I just turned 20 and I always self-reflect during and after a chapter in my life begins or ends but realized that I didn’t really get the chance to enjoy my teens because of the abusive home I grew up in. I left when I was 18 and that’s the closest I’ve come to enjoying my teens because I really felt the main character energy as I was finally taking control of my life and living on my own terms. All of that being said, I really hope you make the most out of your teens because I kinda view it as a privilege to enjoy it and be the age that you are.

For me it feels like there are memories of when life was fun and happy but thinking about it reminds you how those moments are gone almost like your minutes away from dying and all your memories happy or sad even if they were “gone” for a while it comes back to remind you the life you had then seconds away from death you finally feel at peace, mentally forgiving people that may have hurt you and forgiving yourself. By the end of the song I feel like I’m floating. it’s amazing how much music effects people like this. Sorry this was long 😅
It's great writing. The song is in a minor key. I think E minor. Minor keys tend to evoke emotional responses. This song however promises hope through building crescendos.
