Wow, great to see you are posting videos again!!! You and Totally Tabled have similar styles. Lots of excellent B-roll style footage with great narration. Your videos are top notch. You have a few in your previous postings that explain the game better than any other on youtube (Lignum and Barrage are great examples). I avoided your videos for the longest time because the thumbnails looked dated. In my opinion (I could be wrong) if your thumbnails were similar in style to Totally Tabled or Quackalope you'd have 5x / 10x the views / subscribers. Either way, glad you are posting again.
Your scripts, camera work, and voice in general are a perfect combination! I love your formula and enjoy your videos even if I never intend to purchase the game in focus!
@@Robathin I dunno, I watch the Great British Baking Show even though I never intend to be a pastry chef. Are you not familiar with entertainment media?
I didn't realize you had started doing video's again, huzzah! Always covering the obscure stuff, I appreciate that! I've been after this one since I heard about it pre-Essen, glad you've tempered that fervor somewhat, but sounds fun, I'm still looking forward to giving it a try.
Wow, the production on this video is insane! I had Shark in that old '87 box but got rid of it a while ago (it was without that center shark-area). It never got a lot of love but I always feel it might have had some magic with the right players.
Thanks for watching! I didn't realize the center shark area was new. Thanks for the insight. With the right mindset, it can lead to some genuine laughs and maybe some hurt feelings.
My one play of it went SOOOO poorly. Most of the game was just adding single pieces about the different sectors, except for my companies. They instead put me so far ahead, that I sold down what I had in those valuable shares so I would never be susceptible to tanking shares. I'd rather play Acquire any time.
The dice rolls can definitely lead to a dull play. If you can get in a certain mindset I think there is still fun to be had. It does require specific playstyles and attitude. And it's always hard to compete with a classic like Acquire.
Another gem of a video!

I have a few sealed copies of the ravensburger version. I’m still waiting to play this.
Great video editing skills!
Thanks!
