- The Korg NTS-1 mk II is a new version of the original with an improved keypad, arpeggiator, new effects and synth models, and a bunch more. This video is a sound demo of many of the synth sound design features and the effects built in. Pound for pound (or Kilo for kilo) it may be the most powerful synth I own... maybe... but it is truly a powerhouse for its tiny size. The sounds and effects are very strong and I've found myself using it more often than I expected.
This is a fairly slow moving video so you can hear the sounds - but feel free to jump to the chapters that interest you...
Chapters:
0:00 - Intro
1:20 - sequencing
2:25 - Oscillators
3:45 - Filters
4:55 - Envelopes
5:58 - Modulators
8:09 - Delays
11:05 - Reverbs
14:54 - Arpeggiator
I must say it is much better than the first one!
Agreed!
great video, thanks!
Thank you!
Wow, this is clearly worth it just as an effects box in a keyboard rig.Totally getting this for my partner, seems like it will be a great companion to their minibrute, given the right adaptor(s).
Yeah the effects are really strong! For just effects, the first version is worth a look to save some money… not as many options but still great, and I think priced still at $99 new
@@rochefsky no it isn't. 189 euro here in EU.... :-( so... (thomann)
Beat is 🔥
Excellent video. Mine just came in a few days ago. I also have the MK1 version and it's a blast. Looking forward to spending some time with it, and maybe connecting to some Volcas and my Microfreak. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback! I love my mk1 also which is why I was excited for the mkII improvements!
Hi. Can I add effects to Mother 32? If so, how to connect it?
Just route the audio output from Mother32 to the audio input of the NTS-1 - then the NTS-1 output to your mixer/speakers
I just ordered mine, but it's delayed until June.
Nice - but bummer for the wait!
First like at like 120 views. SHAME.
Yeah not my best work I guess… thanks for the support!
