I’m a Nigerian married to an African American. The conversations alone are interesting 😆. I was severely bullied when I first came to America by African Americans because of ignorance. I hold no grudges, the miseducation is real.

The hostile ant-African reaction of Wode Maya's classmate after being called an African, used to be such a common reaction! Africans coming to live or study in America used to routinely experience this hostility from African Americans all the time. It was usually the small number of 'conscious' African Americans that were friendly towards Africans. It is so beautiful and refreshing to see the positive growing changes!

I want to meet you both one day before I leave this earth. I am one of those African Americans who met her African husband back in 2018 and we married this year in February 2021 in Uganda 🇺🇬. Uganda will be my forever home but I've had to return to the states so we can both work towards our retirement in Africa. If you would've asked me 4 years ago if I would have ever had the desire to even visit Africa.. The answer would've been no. I was becoming enlightened 9 months prior to meeting my husband online. Congrats Wode Maya for reaching 1 million subscribers and Traveling Sista for sharing yourself over the past 4 years!! I can't wait to return as I cried when I had to leave.. Wode Maya is so inspirational.... We must recognized how much the colonial system have destroyed our mindset, it’s criminal! But knowledge is power!we must renew our mind as scripture speaks to us, stop being ignorant and live instead of just being walking dead! Moses delivered the people from Egypt, but Joshua led them to freedom! As we know, all the older people died in the wilderness! Delivered but same mindset, only those younger who didn’t know about Egypt was set free to the land of Canaan! Come on BLACK PEOPLE Renew your mind! Knowledge is power!! 💕🙏🏼

Marriage is the ancient way of forming alliances between nations and building families and legacies. It makes perfect sense for Africans and Americans (or diasporans from wherever they are found) to marry and raise families together. Marriage may be the best way to sort out acquisition of real and personal property etc. Marriage.

Broadcasting live from Rwanda to SAINT LOUIS MO . All things are possible because I'm a conqueror. I will start up a business in Rwanda. I will come to Africa with the intentions to protect and give back to Africa. The Lord the creator of all things will supply all of my needs, because what is about to take place is purely out of love and I'm being lead by divine powers that is taking me to the next phase and level in my life . Thank you lord for what you've Done here today in the present and in the future. Ok I'm done 😂 it just took over me. It's not about the African governments not wanting to embrace the diaspora. It's more about them fearing that they are a threat to their interests. This is also true of the Haitian government not allowing their diaspora to do much in their country. Their diaspora is worth north of $80 billion dollars and could easily develop Haiti. Yet, the oligarchs and politicians there see them as a threat to their privileges.

#wodemaya is speaking volumes, I'm from Chicago, and came straight to Tanzania, only because of the restrictions in the west, my experience here sucks, the diaspora, there is no community, unless you paying a diaspora or you have a blog, for any information, my landlord tried to extort my rent money, after I paid in advance, because some arabics offered her more money, went to the police for help, of course they stuck together and sided with her, I tried networking with the local sisters, they treat me like I'm a threat to them, my light is not excepted here, I must take my light somewhere else, because Tanzania is not it, I can't open a business without making a Tanzania who can't afford to put on for the business, my business partner and the local gets 51 percent and I only get 49 percent, #wodemaya what investment ideas you have, I'm seeking generational wealth?

I watch both Traveling asista and Maya’s channels. I am African American. But I am African first! I just call myself Black. I just want to say there are hostilities on both sides. There are so many African on the continent who do not see African Americans as African at all. We both have work to do to get to know each other. We are
Offer preyed upon when we move to Africa. That is shocking as well. We need to research true HISTORY to know the entire truth about where we all are today!

It's just embedded in slavery and colonialism. Do you think the one that kidnapped your brother will leave him with a bouquet of flowers? They have to do their best to miseducate both sides. Blame the Mzungu that is perpetually miseducating the people through Mass media.

THANKS FOR SUCH A GREAT INTERVIEW. I VISITED SENEGAL TWICE AND I LIVED IN GHANA. I CHOOSE GHANA BECAUSE IT IS SO SIMILAR TO 🇯🇲. BUT WITH THIS NEW CHANGES THAT GHANA'S PRESIDENT PUT INTO AFFECT FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY..... IS DISGUSTING.....U HAVE TO BE VACCINATED TO ENTER IN OR OUT. PEOPLE SHOULD CHOOSE WHAT GOES IN THEIR BODIES.....THE VACCINE THAT IS SENT TO AFRICAN COUNTRIES, DO WE EVEN KNOW IF THEY ARE THE ONES THE REST OF THE WORLD GETS???? THANK U BOTH FOR THIS COMING TOGERTHER, NUFF RESPECT!! JAH BLESS
