I'm a katonk in California and just getting into slack key guitar. I really enjoy your lessons and think you do a great job teaching! Please keep the lessons coming! Are there any "must know" songs I should learn first to be able to play luaus? I've played in bands all my life and would love to start playing in public again now that I'm retired. I'd like to play at luaus because the food is always soooo good! LOL! Thanks for your videos!
This is my first attempt at Slack Key Guitar. Trying to stay patient. I played folk guitar for many years so hammering on, sliding and alternating base are familiar. But nonetheless this is a whole new thing for this old guy. Thanks so much for offering these great lessons with TAB. If I make it back to the Islands anytime soon I will make time for a few lessons.
