I'm no doctor but from what I've read this is what I can recall . To anyone here panicking when they see foamy urine it's common every now and then to have foamy urine it's called temporary proteinuria which is actually very normal. Don't forget to urine can also foam up when the bladder is full or the urine is more concentrated also if your urine is being passed very quickly bubbles form can when it hits the water . The main thing to do is maintain a healthy steady diet , looking a bit of weight helps and also exercise regularly. And let me tell you the kidneys absolutely love it when you do. Also drink plenty of water .

I had nephrosis when I was a child, age 12, but after a year of Prednisone and bed rest, it cleared up. Now at age 65 with type 2 diabetes and hypertension, my urine protein levels have started to rise some . I work hard to keep my A1c down to 6.2 and my BP ~ 120/70 mostly.
When I found out the protein was starting to show in my urine ~2mg/dl.. I bought some test strips and plan to check a few times a week and log the results for my Gp.
I was getting overly too concerned initially since I know kidney failure is an end of life event. At my age and my medical history, I doubt I'd be considered for a transplant since people who are younger and in better health should have first shot. I do understand.
Your video has helped me to be lees concerned but vigilant.

I have iGA nephropathy and one of the signs is proteinuria, which i have. My nephrologist has advised me against taking workout supplements as it could take a toll on my kidneys. Kindly see a nephrologist and they will probably suggest you to do some blood/urine tests.

You know what?! I hardly eat Wingstop, but when I do, I always order the Atomic Wings (the hottest ones). EVERYTIME I have to pee after eating those for a day, my urine is VERY, VERY FOAMY... What is this??? It only happens when I eat those specific wings and sauce.

Is there a difference between bubbly/foamy-urine that can be flushed and foamy-urine that takes more than one flush to leave the bowl?......I've been passing the latter for several months now after changing my diet to high protein/high fat/low carb. I have no other symptoms associated with CKD.

I' skinny, so I try to improve. I lift weights every 2-3 days. I take protein powder at least 5 days per week. My Proteinuria is 144mg/l in 24h (double the normal leve?l). Is that ok, considering my regimen? or is it too high regardless the fact that I take protein supplements, and I'm ruining my kidneys? should I quit protein powder?

Hi Sir;
My father have BP issue after covid vaccination a year before, in January 2022 have stent, but his BP still not in control, a week before doctors advised to have 24 hour urine test and found the following;
Protein (24 Hrs Urine) = 1.61/G
Protein (Spot Urine) = 651 mg/dl
Creatinine (Spot Urine)= 281 mg/dl
Protein / Creatinine Ratio (Spot Urine)= 2.32
Now my father has swellings on the eyes, abdominal and stretch legs from 1 month, as well his BP is not stable and varies from 100/60 to 195/95 during day.
Now nephrologist advised further autoimmune profile tests.
Could you advised that these tests are relevant or my father should advise to visit another doctor?
Please guide, and what treatment you recommended?
