- Alston is a small town in Cumbria, England, within the civil parish of Alston Moor on the River South Tyne. It shares the title of the 'highest market town in England', at 1000 feet (300m) above sea level, with Buxton, Derbyshire. All new videos are in HD 1080p. There is a small island along the east coast of the United States that has this small town and the only vehicles allowed are for emergancy use only. This video makes me think of how much more attractive it would be with cars mucking up the senery haha it would look straight out of the movies. Thanks for showing another place I will never be able to visit in a way no one can see.....

Yes, Janet Alston is stuck in a time warp never changes much. I used to live in Slaggyford and go the Alston for nights out it was like the wild west.
