- More iced craziness at win.gs/MqRAii
The world's best downhill ice crossers spent their weekend battling it out at Red Bull Crashed Ice - Saint Paul. The event name says it all, as there was no shortage of crashing while racers fought for first on this technical downhill track.

Such a rad event to be at and film in person. You guys did a great job of taking care of us media folk! Thanks again for having us.
This needs to be in the next winter olympics
Dallago! yeah Austria!
This video doesn't do justice! Way sweeter in person!!!
What??!! Ive never seen this before! And I grew up in minnesota! Wish i wouldve know about this then... Thats sick!
Why this sport isn't included into Winter Olympics games?
1) it's very young, 2) it requires a purpose-built course with only the one sport that can use it, 3) their governing body quite possibly doesn't want to yet, 4) I doubt there'd be enough support in an IOC vote to add it to the Winter games just yet.
.
Eugame not quite, ski jumping appears both as a solo event (mens & womens) as well as an element of both the solo and team Nordic Combined events. It's also iconic of the Winter Games and has existed since the 1800s.
I'm sure Ice Cross will make it to the games eventually, especially with the established popularity of Ski & Boarder Cross, but when you consider the fact the likes of Slopestyle has only just appeared for the first time at Sochi, these things take time. I think an established presence at the Winter X Games first though would significantly boost it's cause. If the sport continues and grows, at a guess I would say we'll see it at the 2022 or '26 Games, I doubt it'll be at Pyeongchang in 2018.
An extra point for, the athletes that compete could be pulled from the hockey teams.
Congrat to the champion and is fan at 2:12 so beautyfull.
Awesome I didn't even know this existed before this.
they need to come up with a way to resurface the ice
