I have a pair of the Classic pant cut out ready to sew. I think l will get some of that cleaning soap. It sounds great. I get restless legs. It keeps me awake sometimes. It's so annoying. I have been having a magnesium drink of a night, which also helps with sleep. I think it does work. Hope the cream helps your legs. 🪷🪷🪷
@@libbybennett3067 Thanks Libby, I didn’t change my mistake as I didn’t think it was noticeable, it took a bit of Tetris to get the 3 garments out of the fabric and the skirt and pants are quite narrow and I’m short so that helped. I made the skirt but found I didn't have much fabric to make the top as I matched the side pattern and my fabric had been cut crooked. i have decided to cut the top with a join in the fabric using a contrast; so front and back match with the pattern. I had already made a green top which matches well. Wore my outfit on New Years. Your version looks great!

What a fantastic parcel Deb and such generous gifts! Great that you mention this on the channel and hopefully this will generate some business for the supplier. I buy home made soaps and creams from Blue Earth an NZ company and they always gift in an additional soap for me. Is the mistake to do with the straps? One with binding the other without? Brilliant that you got all three makes with the fabric! Argh Asian public toilets generally! Re bushfires…l was born in Hamilton although spent most of my youth elsewhere, but as a young adult spent a lot of time in the Grampians. Sad to think of the fires and not only the impact on the wildlife and local residents, awful during holiday season. But that’s Australia!
Hi Cat, it was very generous and they have fabulous customer service. One of my friends was using Blue Earth when she lived in Australia, now she is back in NZ so I have heard good things about that brand. Both the armholes have binding but one is turned to the inside and one and the neck are turned to the outside, as I prefer the outside look, you cant really tell so not worth ruining the fabric to change it. Yes Asian toilets 'horrifying' to say the least especially in the rural parts of China, needless to say I wont be taking my new jumpsuit to Vietnam, but I am very much looking forward to the holiday as I haven't been to Vietnam before. There have been fires lately but nothing they couldn't get under control quickly so lets hope it stays like that, i guess our house wont burn down as it was built in 1890 so I guess it has seen a few close fires over the years. I keep getting alerts on my phone but they are just watch and listen alerts, trust me even the deaf could hear that alarm that sounds from the fire station, that is Australia. We have been there seven times - whatever the error is in your sewing it is not visible to me. Yes - I certainly did buy some fabric. The best place for quality fabrics is in Benh Than markets in Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh). I bought some beautiful wool suiting but still haven’t used it. It is a fantastic huge market (very busy with hard to cross streets but definitely worth a visit if you are there.Don’t let that put you off as it is a fantastic place and lots of small shops and restaurants close by. If you do get to Hoi Anh the Central market has lots of fabric - there are heaps of tailors in Hoi Anh. Anyway I think you will enjoy your trip over there and would love your thoughts when you come home.

Lucky you being about to cut out three garments out of the Club Tropicana fabric, I have had to contact Kristen and she is sending me extra fabric so I can cut out the Rise and Shine top (I was less than an inch short... yep, frustrating....). I cannot see where you have made the mistake on your top and I don't blame you for not correcting it either because you can't see it and the top is beautiful anyway. I reckon you should make the Maison Fauve 'Palma' top from the 'My Dress Made' fabric (check your emails). Happy sewing

Hi Deb, fantastic trio made with the club tropicana fabric. The only thing I could guess at as an error with the top is that the fabric on the front may not be cut exactly straight. Would this be as you did not measure you were exactly aligned with the straight grain ? I would never have noticed if you had not mentioned it as it is just a little sloping. Hi Deb, can I give you a tip to stop you having leg cramps while in bed at night. Now don’t think I’ve lost my marbles 🤪, I can assure you this works. Put a bar of soap under your bottom sheet at the bottom of the bed. Just an ordinary bar of toilet soap, leave it there and you won’t have any more leg cramps. 🧵🪡🇦🇺
Gorgeous Deb. I don't see any error. Unlike mine, I obviously cut the wrong size and the armscye is far too big the top is unwearable. I don't know how to fix it. I love the skirt though and have worn it with a different top. Heading off to look at Flora's soaps now. Stay safe 😘

How much fabric did you have? That is well done. The only error could possibly be either with the arm scye on the right straight on or the width of the right strap but it is imperceptible. That just could be the angle because of the camera.
