After passport submission how long did it take for you to receive ur passport back ?? I submitted my passport on 22nd feb 2024 , its been 1 month now and still now update . I am very worried

@@CanedatoCanada Alhamdulillah finally I got my PPR request letter for TRV, but there is no mention any photos, only mention PPR request letter and passport, now I waiting for my VSF appointment letter and date. Please pray for me that everything is goes well.

I have received my 'Ready for VISA' email. I have 2 questions:
1. Shall I get PPR document in GCKEY account or can I book an appointment with VFS with email PDF itself?
2. I only have given name in my passport, so what to fill in First name and Last name fields?

After ready for visa mail you need to book an appointment with VFS to submit your passport for stamping follow instructions given in your ready for visa mail..
2nd question: I faced the same problem.
So it both are mandatory to write so write given name in both . And please mention this in letter of explanation. We did the same..
How did u get know that your passport had reached at vfs jalandhar? What message did u receive?
We were notified of all steps (reached Delhi, reached Canada Embassy, arrived at VFS Jalandhar etc.) the passport went through via e-mails.
Also, there is an option to enroll for paid text message service. We hadn't taken it.
So, we were notified via emails.
After giving biometrics how many days it took for passport request
@SARIKA SHARMA It took less than a month. We gave our biometrics on 6th June and on 31 we received a golden email.

1. HOW long did it take for you from AIR to PPR?
2. What are the 2 photos that we are supposed to click (physical copies) meant for, if they are not out on visa?
Also, 3, if i may ask: you are not supposed to do anything with the COPR letter?

2. One photo for copr letter and one photo is for the PR card .
3. There will be two copies given to you one will be take by immigration officer at the port and another one is for you . When you are in Canada this will be used to get sin, Bank account etc. till you will get your pr card

Yes, in the account application status gets changed from 'Decision in Progress' to 'Ready For Visa'.

PR is for lifetime. However, as COPR letter is valid for 9 months so first visit/landing must be done within 9 months. Exact dates are mentioned on the COPR letter.
